So I've been avoiding paying a monthly subscription fee for TextExpander, because fuck monthly subscription fees for software that one used to own. I've been using aText, but I'm not thrilled with it; it's kind of buggy and the documentation is crap. (I've paid a lot for it, too. Dammit.)

I just found out that TextExpander is an Automattic product! Well my gosh, if there's a way to support Automattic, which supports us here at Tumblr--yeah, sure, I'll pony up for that. (It's not bad...$3/month...it's just...paying monthly for software? Rubs me wrong. Especially for software I'm going to be using for years.)

Aaaaanyway, looks like I'm going to buy into TextExpander.
