considering we r all consumning problematic media to some extent + have to engage with capitalistic systems to survive I think the language of what is good media to consume and what isn't can become extremely funny.
I think it takes a special kind of narcissism to be an adult who 1. Has decided that the choices they have made in this juggling act are the ones that make them immune from being #problematic and 2. Who then condescendingly informs others of common knowledge about #problematic things that like, celebrities have done to let them know that they are engaging with the gargantuan hollywood + music industries in the Wrong Way (as opposed to the correct way they somehow are?)
By all means Have Opinions but don't exempt yourself from consumning problematic media unless you live off the grid or something. And the fact that you've justified your own choices but can't comprehend that other people do the same thing & weigh the same factors against each other without necessarily needing you to tell them things they already know makes you...not "problematic"- which might be the only type of wrongness this type of person cares about- but an annoying dweebo
tl;dr it's really funny for people who constantly tell me to stop making fun of a COP show because it says bisexual on TV to tell others not to watch like, SNL or something.
