in this post i wonder about why Orange exploded in space, it didn't make sense to me. But i figured it out i really did.

To understand this all we have to understand why salt hurts them. We could go by a real life example of snails dying from salt. The body of a snail is 85% just water and their skin lets things through it easily; when you put salt on the snail it pulls out the moisture in their body and kills it. Do i believe that's exactly what happened in the show? Probably, yeah. It seems like a logical expression even if death by osmosis in molluscs looks a bit different but we'll go with this explanation for my sake because I'm not going back to analyze the imposters dying by salt frame by frame (and the show writers probably didn't focus on stupid shit like this like i am doing right now because it wasn't relevant to the plot)

Now to why Orange explodes but this time with the assumption of them having a high water % in their cells.

Water does this little funny thing where it starts to boil in the void of space (or in prozone chambers). It doesn't get hot but it starts to boil violently and it can still do that while in living cells. so the water boiling and the molecules trying to escape into the void as gas Rip their cells and body apart

This might be horribly wrong as I'm not a scientist but yeah

Something i cannot stop thinking about is why the hell did Orange explode in space!!!

We know from the O2 sabotage is that they don't require (or require much less) air to breathe so that couldn't have to do with the thing that when you hold your breath in space your lungs explode and shit. why did they explode like that.

Do they even go to industria? It'd be kinda dumb to show up with their hands empty even if the cargo they carried was parasitic alien eggs. They'd probably get slimed the fuck out for losing so much crew. This option personally would make me wish the imposter just killed everyone if i was in their shoes 😭😭

and if they don't get slimed out by MIRA for failing the mission they either both and up like Purple after the reactor incident or sign an NDA and have to work for MIRA again so yeah, both awful

Another question is if MIRA actually knew about the eggs, Orange didn't seem to know, Red didn't know either despite being the captain! Their handbook even mentions the aliens that hatch from the aforementioned eggs but not the fact ore+ is the eggs.. The general population doesn't seem to know about their existence either which is odd when you consider the fact pretty much every single among us game is canon, someone should notice the casualties by now-

This actually leads me to believe the Crew from the Show is some of the very first victims as the general public seems unaware of the aliens and seeing the sheer scale of casualties that happen in the game it'd be ridiculously hard to cover them up.

I think MIRA was aware of the eggs, in a way-

Either ORE+ (which would technically be alien eggshells lol-) is HEAVENLY fuel that makes the risk "worth it" or we're going with the "Aliens run/took over MIRA" theory. I'm personally not too big of the Impostor ran MIRA theory because it leaves a lot of plot holes (at least for me) considering what we've seen in the games of it.

MISSION POLUS MASTER POST

Okay first of all, what is "Mission Polus"? Mission Polus is a post canon au for the among us TV series where after arriving at Industria Red and Purple decide to keep working for MIRA in hopes of gathering incriminating information they could expose the company with.

The two of them join a crew of OC characters on a ship called The Journey and set off to a Polus Research Base. The ship doesn't carry any ORE+ cargo so they don't have to worry about imposters!!! surely......
