Text: Must we attend the Capulet family dinner? I don't see us holding up to that much scrutiny right now.

Unsent: I thought we were in a better place but maybe not. We made it through the last few claims and the ball.

Text: Lady Beatrice wouldn’t call a dinner like this, especially inviting those of us who are not Capulets, unless it was important.  I’d like to see why she has invited us all.

Text: Thank you.  Some audio books would be good but nothing too taxing, I keep nodding off and I’d hate to miss something vital.

Text: Fine. I will compromise but you cannot sit and watch TV because the doctors said no screens for two weeks. So that is why nothing on the couch. You may listen to music. You may read from an actual book. In the bedroom. Stop pushing Megan. You must take time to get well.

Text: How is that a compromise?  I’m still stuck in bed and I can’t read, I get a headache if I try to focus on the small print.

Text: Can I at least sketch?

Text: She won’t even let me go and lie on the couch and watch TV.  She keeps insisting I have to be in bed - what am I doing on the couch that is so different to bed?
