i’m posting this really because i wanted to save it somewhere and thought it would be fun to share this with you guys!! shoutout to my friend @firewworks and my sis @juuzou-the-ripper for letting me yell this au at them
minor spoilers!
OKAY STORY: Chateau Nohr was once really ritzy and now they’re becoming run down. Xander wants to revitalize it so bad, but the only thing that would keep the hotel afloat would be a partnership with Hotel Hoshido, but any form of partnership ended when Garon, the CEO of Chateau Nohr tried to swindle Sumeragi, the CEO of Hotel Hoshido, out of his franchise. He doesn’t get anything, but ends up swiping little Corrin who had come with Sumeragi. When Sumeragi realizes Corrin is gone, Garon vehemently denies it and ruins the Hotel Hoshido reputation by criticizing him for accusing him of such a heinous crime and then takes control of some key finances and some of their hotels. Corrin grows up in the penthouse and is not permitted to leave, and when she is, she must wear a hat and glasses and is presented as Azurra. Garon is a fucking ruthless CEO, and the Nohr kids can kind of tell their family business is gong under, so they do what they can to revitalize it and deal with disgruntled employees and all the stuff Garon refuses to acknowledge.
Meanwhile, the Hoshido siblings are really mad about Garon’s trickery and the elder ones are particularly distraught about the loss of their sibling, as the younger ones don’t remember her much. The family is suffering from the loss of a child and their business is suffering from the loss and they begin to struggle maintaining their hotels with the misfortune. Things aren’t going well for the family themselves, so Mikoto suggests that Sumeragi take a long break and she’‘ll handle dealing with the financial mess.
Then heiress, Corrin, enters the picture. Corrin has been raised by Garon at Chateau Nohr, albeit very differently than his own kids. She’s been home-schooled instead of attending school with Xander and the rest. When she turns 18, Corrin is granted access to a trust fund left to her by her by her father, thus making her find out she’s not Garon’s true child. The trust fund is enormous and makes Corrin wealthy in her own name and right instead of attached to the Nohrian empire. Corrin now has the finances to endorse Chateau Nohr’s ambition and broker a deal to buy Hotel Hoshido out for them. However, on the flip side, she also has the finances to support Hotel Hoshido. Corrin also doesn’t really know her mom, however. She’s been raised by Garon since her youth and has never really questioned the possibility of having a mother out there.
Roles:
Neutral
-Corrin: a sweet, kindhearted, and wealthy heiress after receiving an enormous trust fund from her deceased father. A curious and personable girl who is eager to make friends after an isolated childhood. Very close with her ‘siblings’ Xander, Camilla, Leo, and Elise. She aspires to make a name for herself.
-Jakob: Corrin’s bodyguard since her youth; fiercely protective of her.
-Flora and Felicia: Corrin’s personal maids since she was rarely permitted to leave the penthouse at the hotel. She hires them outright whrn she receives her trust fund.
Nohr
-Xander: While Garon is sill the official CEO, Xander still appears as his lapdog, but manages the chain humanely behind the scenes. He dreams of restoring the hotel chain to its former glory and prestige. Has a soft spot for Corrin and tries to make things as comfortable as possible for her.
-Camilla: head of accommodations. Enjoys seeing her guests as happy as possible, and will most always strive to meet their requests. Plans the events the hotel hosts. Helps Elise with her job as well. Adores Corrin wholeheartedly.
-Leo: Assists Xander in his duties and does most of the coordination jobs. Trains new employees and works on advertising. Often spends his spare time studying with Corrin and listening to her play violin. Plays piano with her as well.
-Elise: Concierge! Se helps guests plan trips and excursions through the hotel and recommends restaurants and places to see in Windmire. Love love loves her sister Corrin and spends all her spare time with her. A fan of Chutes and Ladders.
Hoshido
-Ryoma: Since Mikoto is alive and handles the financial situation, Ryoma handles the people and employees. Like Xander, he is the manager, and his employees admire his strong leadership.
-Hinoka: responsible for training the new employees and keeping everyone on task. Treats every guest like family and runs the front desk. Yearns for the return of her sister above everything.
-Takumi: Helps Mikoto with the finances, interviews new employees, and handles security of the hotel. Tepid and uncertain to a brusque degree with people he doesn’t know, so besides interviews, he doesn’t much interact with the guests. Feels overshadowed by his older brother and his missing sister, but tries not to let his siblings know.
-Sakura: she’s rather shy, so she handles behind the scenes work such as suggesting events for Ryoma to host in the hotel. She’s good at reading people, and often knows what they want before they want. Encourages the staff to complete service with a smile and respect. Runs the little clinic in the hotel.
