Hi! I cleared Vah Medoh a week ago and I was already being a bit sarcastic towards Link as we adventured (I talk to myself/characters on screen often when playing a game like BotW), but then Revali showed up and between him, me, and my mom who came through the room occasionally, it turned into a roast of the Hylian Champion! Hi! Your translations of the Master Works have been so interesting to read, are you planning on translating the maps showing what was happening during the 1st Calamity?

Thank you so much for your kind words! There are actually about twenty pages of these maps at the end of Master Works, from page 374 to 391. This also happens to be one of the most textually dense parts of the book, so I think I’m going to leave this job to the professionals, who work in teams with the aid of databases and cross-referencing software. That being said, I would like to translate page 386, which contains the two maps showing the distribution of the population of Hyrule before and after the Calamity. I’d also like to take a crack at the huge map on pages 406 and 407 that connects some of the ruins predating the Calamity with events in the mythology of Hyrule. With any luck I’ll be able to post the final two Ganon pages this week, and next week I’ll get started on the maps.
