I’ve got this potent concoction of being deep, deep in the closet and autism that means I black out whenever I go to the optometrist. Genuinely, no memory of what happens there. Whatever glasses I receive weeks after, never seen before in my life. Last time they were purple (least favorite color) and bedazzled (???). I couldn’t even bring myself to wear them, but my old, bent glasses from 2020 are getting to blurry to keep wearing.
