SG Shard Terrans
I still haven't figured out the second half of S1, tbh, but i have ideas for SG Spitfire, Aftermath, and four OCs.
Aftermath — Born first. He's the shard at the fair, until Leo (Fairmaestro's real name which i made up; he's more normal in SG) accidentally drops it in a puddle. Leo goes "Holy shit!" and isn't really sure what to do next. Idk if he was in America during the S1 finale when the lies about the war were exposed and the US government turned against and tried to scapegoat the Autobots for everything and then tried to kill them, but Leo realizes he should hide the baby from the bots and the government. Hiding him isn't that easy because Aftermath isn't any smarter than his baseline counterpart. Aftermath is eventually discovered though, maybe after Spitfire or maybe not, and might get treated like shit by the Maltos because of something Spitfire did, like canon but swapped around?
Spitfire — Born second, but she's the first the Maltos and the Autobots (or at least Autobots) find out about. Spitfire gets scooped up by the Autobots, who emotionally abuse her and try to make a child soldier out of her because they failed at that with the Malto terrans, but now they can have Twitch's abilities without Twitch. This also inspires the Autobots to intentionally create more shard terrans to get the Malto kids' abilities without the Malto kids, and to have a second try at the child army thing. However, Spitfire gets injured early on and is "captured" by the Ascenticons. Spitfire isn't initially very receptive though, because of the abuse and lies from the Autobots. She does eventually bond with Aftermath though. Maybe the Autobots only create the other shard terrans after losing Spitfire, and she sees they don't care about her and just replaced her? Though would it really make sense for the Autobots to not force somebody else to scan a drone too, if Spitfire isn't still there when the other four are forced to scan?
Windfall — Becomes a Nightshade repaint because the Autobots force her to scan the owl statue to get Nightshade's powers. She couod be the leader. Idk what to do with her personality or where to go with her in general.
Speedbump — While Jawbreaker refuses to ever scan and becomes a monoformer, Speedbump decides to become a dinosaur and scans the stygimoloch from the Drexel natural sciences museum without the Autobots' permit. Idk what to do with his personality or where to go with him in general.
Hard Drive — He gets forced to scan the G.H.O.S.T van in attempt to get Hashtag's wifi powers, but it doesn't work. He does become a repaint of Hashtag but doesn't get internet powers, because they don't come from the altmode but from Hashtag being an outlier (notice how she doesn't lose it when she switches alts). This failure would propably lead to worse abuse, maybe the Autobouts would make Hard Drive the "family" scapegoat? That could go either way in either making him rebel, or make him desperate to prove his value to the Autobots. Maybe Hard Drive would have a "Two Birds" dynamic with one of the others, whichever role he would himself fall into?
Aces — Becomes a Thrash repaint from being forced to scan the same motorcycle. Idk what to do with his personality or where to go with him in general. Not even sure about the pronouns.
Not sure who'd train them, if they'd have one drill sergeant like they did with the Malto kids (Bee) or if they'd assign mentors. They might want another scientist though. And Bee doesn't like this, though he doesn't like the shard terrans either — he only cares about the Malto kids.
Also not sure who among the Autobot shard terrans would be the "golden child" or other dysfunctional/abusive family roles, besides Hard Drive propably ending up as the scapegoat because he doesn't get the powers he was created to to get.
