How would the mercs react to their S/O saying "I love you" to them for the first time? I've always been hesitant about saying that to people so loosely and feel like it's my way of showing them how close and special they truly are to me!
This might be a little tough but I'll try my best!
Scout would be flustered! He'd hug his S/O and bury his face in the crook of their neck as he whispers the words back!
Soldier lifts his S/O into the air and twirl them around, saying he loves them too and that he would shout it from the rooftops!
Pyro does a little happy dance before giving them a big squeezy hug! He gently presses his mask against their face, only to lift it just enough to give their S/O a peck on the cheek!
Demo laughs heartily, because their S/O is just so hecking cute! He peppers their face in little kisses, telling them he loves them too!
Medic would chuckle sweetly, and place his hand gently on the side of their face. "Ich liebe dich auch." He then plants a soft kiss on their forehead!
Sniper would rub the back of his neck nervously with a blush, and mumble something under his breath, but they hear it anyways! "Y-yeah, you too..." He smiles softly.
Engie would likely have a similar reaction as Sniper, fidgeting a bit nervously. "Aw shucks... I love ya too, partner. Heheheh..." And he gives you a cute wink!
Spy has given them so many gifts to show his love for them, but actually hearing his S/O say the 3 special words sends his heart fluttering, and butterflies in his tummy! (Luckily not the knives-) "I'm glad we're on the same page." He spends the rest of the day planning a romantic gesture in which he can say it back to them!
Heavy would stop whatver he was doing to look at his S/O as they blush madly. They say the 3 words, and he smiles softly and kneels in front of them. "You are cutest. Heavy love you as well." And he pulls them in for a snug hug.
