wanted to ask abt the Beard being Not Great^tm thing in the one post's tags since he absolutely makes some very off-colour jokes but like was there anything specific that happened or what

also sorry if it's a sensitive topic or something feel free to delete/ignore I just like to have context for things

i wouldn't normally address something like this, but tumblr audiences might not be aware of it because it all went down on twitter, and there really aren't enough people who care about/are aware of what happened.

basically, there's a reason why bearded isn't in soundsmith's videos anymore. it was a lot of stuff, lying about his age, being weird about porn on discord around minors, and being emotionally abusive to his friends.

here's the full testimony from a few of his friends at the time. i didn't talk to him much, but i was (and still am) very close friends with a lot of the people he hurt.

after the callout bearded said he would be taking "a long break." i remember at the time i told him i'd rather he quit entirely, but obviously he didn't. most of us cut contact with him, but there's a few people who still hang out with him and i guess just...pretend it never happened?
