"So they went back to excursions in the lab, among the beakers and swooping tubes, the bright colors from the liquids throwing a kaleidoscope of reflections on the walls. (As far as Tavish knew, most of these chemicals weren’t supposed to be chromatic, especially not cherry red or toxic green, but things had been that way ever since he’d cleaned out the lab as a wee lad and claimed it for his own. He’d always chalked it up to another one of the castle’s quirks.) Tavish eventually found himself holding a tube partially fumed ether, waving it around as he bemoaned the trials of real alchemy."

My artistic rendition of a scene from hanktalkin's 'Realms of the Unreal' for this years @tf2bigbang! It's such a lovely story I highly recommend! I had a lot of fun with this! :)
