I used a reference from one of @rainderthesomeone's epic tf2 gmod comics, specifically from this episode! :D Give those a read, they're really fun!! Loved this pose so much I wanted to draw it nyehehe

RRAAAGHHH I'M SO GLAD I CAN FINALLY DRAW PROPERLY AGAIN!!!!!!! I've been messing about with brushes, pressure sensitivity, textures + other stuff stuff to try to find my style. I'll definitely be posting more art these weeks, as well as finishing off WIPS that have been collecting dust for a while now haha... aough.

Pyro yay! This is more of a practice piece, and I enjoyed just going crazy and messy and not worrying too much about neat brushstrokes, realistic lighting, etc. Promised myself to refrain from cleaning up the lineart since it still looks okay as it is, and I kept that promise MUAHAHA.

If anything I'm glad I can embrace the imperfections and roughness of this piece; I still really like the version without lineart a lot, though... I might render the colours better and smoothen up the edges, and post a version of this without lineart? Pyro's material shines though really well, especially the glove!! I might come back to this... Also ignore the starry background, I didn't know what to add to make it interesting and kind of went overboard BUT I LOVE IT >:))

So happy that I feel confident to share my art, it's helped me a lot and I feel like I'll keep on improving :3

I'm planning on cropping these out and cleaning them up digitally on my laptop, perhaps colouring them in, then posting them again in a nicer format! Uh ignore scout he's there. Tried to draw a scene of those two where Scout yaps to Airman about their dog tags and then his introverted silence sort of just. Makes scout awkwardly stop talking and gets self aware (it's very out of character LMAO scout not talking and being self aware huh what?)

HELLO RANDOM GOOD NEWS >:))) Not tf2 related just wanted to rant here! tl;dr - PerhAps I'll be posting digital art here in the upcoming week (FINALLY-) because I may have found my crappy lil drawing pad's charger! :) BUNCHHH of yapping under the cut:

The charging cable for my drawing pad may be returning to me soon, meaning I'll be able to create digital art again (without straining my hand trying to draw on my laptop's mousepad BAHAHA)!

For context, I lost it around.. last year? My drawing pad won't work without it, and I was too lazy/stubborn to purchase another one. Anytime I've been digitally drawing has been using my laptop's mousepad (which is a long and tedious process, and my wrist has paid for it BAHAHAJAH). I had a sneaking suspicion that my father accidentally took my charger mistaking it for one of his. Apparently I was right, because I just brought it up with him again - he said he had recently organised some cables at his place, including one that matches the description of my drawing pad's cable. So yeah!! Next time he visits, I will have acquired The Cable, meaning I'll BE ABLE TO DIGITALLY DRAW PROPERLY AND MORE NATURALLY AND QUICKLY AGAINN A AAND AAAfhdiuk I'm so excited! :] Hopefully it's the right one, I'm sure it is.. hopefully.... fjghriilhfr
