Earthspark S3 and S4 thoughts:

I'm. Mmm I took a break from watching transformers, especially Earthspark. I was admittedly scared and I forgot that the last episode counted as season 4...it's also not in the seasons tab for some reason. so I watched the last episode of season 3 and was so confused on why Hot Rod or Mirage wasnt there. I swear I watched all of season 3 but I have no memory of the last episode what so ever. I do know that the pacing was slow, and the entire budget went into the last fight. Terratronous is still cool and I hope to see her in other iterations one day.

I'm not the biggest Starscream fan but I know disrespect when I see it.

Season 4 or I guess the final movie was for the most part pretty good. It starts out in the middle of a situation where the characters are facing some kind of problem on Cybertron. Mo and Robby are already betrayed by a (VERY DEEP VOICED) Hot Rod...which...damn okay. Theyre also separated from their family and the Autobots. Twitch and Trash have a sibling rivalry/fight thing going on, which is fine. I do feel like Thrash's character has dipped a lot in a way I dont remember him being this bad?

The pacing and dialogue is a lot better (thank god), and I found myself laughing or getting giddy at a lot of scenes compared to the last episode I saw. It also made me realize I really didnt need to watch it, to watch the last episode of the show.

Okay fuck it i have to talk about it now.

Yeah so I knew Bumblebee and Megatron would get the sword thing to wipe their memory in this and...Based on everyone's reactions I saw...NOT GET IT RESOLVED.

I kept thinking it would happen at any moment.

When Bumblebee and Megatron go out...okay its gonna happen then...

They dont even fully address Bee!! It was really not focused on. Yeah sure Megsie is "dead" motherfuckers he's not grey he's fine. The amount of how much this is brushed away is insane.

I literally thought their memories being erased was the MIDPOINT of the movie. NOT AT THE END WHEN YOU THINK YOU GET ANOTHER SEASON. ARE YOU???

It feels...very intentional. Like for the most part, Transformers as a brand that keeps resetting, goes back to the status quo, especially in its shows that try to do something different. I really liked season 1 of Earthspark. And there were still got things past that. But you can tell that the identity of the show was getting stripped away bit by bit (animation dipped but they did change studios and it's not my main issue). At least the final episode wasnt boring, I'm glad I found most of it enjoyable.

I just found this poster I got at Anime Expo (I think) a long ass time ago.

Originally, I did not know who this Tailgate was and only knew Arcee and her Tailgate from Prime, which is why I bought it.

To the artist who I bought this from, I finally read MTMTE/Lost Light and I understand the context of this piece now.

I saw a ppst on Twitter of a video of a robot cleaning out a ton of gunk from a square hole and she says "this is what robots are supposed to do, not writing scripts and making art." I'm so fucking Transformers pilled because I thought it was a funny but mean thing to say about Thundercracker the alien robot who has a dog but no no no she's talking about generative Ai. It's not even close.

Beast Wars ep 31 first watch.

This actually applies to episode 29? But the gif is from 31. This is all I can think of. This reminds me of when people say Twilight Princess is really dark but don't tell you about The talking baby.

Adding to the list of Transformers with insane one sentence descriptions that make me want to learn more about a character:

Thundercracker is a redeemed Decepticon that is a notable scriptwriter who writes self insert stories about himself and his human girlfriend and owns a dog named Buster he loves very much.

No I will not read the entire comic, but I will skip to the sections with them in it.

Man Transformers One is the type of film that needs to be watched more than once. I appreciated it so much more after my third time watching it as well as when I know more details that may have not been further explained in the film/too subtle to notice on first watch to even appreciate.

"I'm done saving you" is so much more gut wrenching to me personally with saving Orion throughout the film when I have seen people slow down clips of what he's doing to protect him throughout the film.

Please make a sequel please 🙏

There's no evidence but I felt B-127 was a bit older than the Orion and D-16. And yet. And yet. This man has the most baby of baby fan art I've ever seen. He won't ever escape from being the baby of the group and I think that's hilarious.
