16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

...Too many. I've lost count. My ducks are not in order, they are simply waddling about. But I'm trying to be good and not start any new WIPs.

As for the new idea, I'm back on my single-dad!Inuyasha bullshit. I am not god's strongest soldier. You can't expect me to watch The Mandalorian and listen to Pedro Pascal's voice and stare at the ugliest-cutest baby in the whole freaking galaxy wearing the beskar chain mail his father had made for him by melting his spear - because that is his father, I will take no arguments - and this 'found family' trope is a balm to my soul yet utterly maddening because I obsess over what it means to choose to love someone unconditionally AND NOT GET BACK ON MY SINGLE-DAD!INUYASHA BULLSHIT.

40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

I'm already far too blessed by all the artists who have created art for me. I also try to commission as much as possible (though I am a poor witch right now). But if you forced me to choose, Leverage.

59. Does anyone in your personal life know you write fic? if not, would you tell anyone?

A handful of people know I write fanfiction. Virtually everyone knows I write. But I'm not really a big sharer on the 'vulnerable' parts of me (i.e. the parts that make me happy) so the circle likely will not expand.

65. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

LOL the ending of That Flesh of Mine. December 28th, 2023 baby.

First set of photomicrographs! Ran into a couple of tiny hitches but overall some pretty good shots!

First time I managed to actually GET anything clear enough to see. The particulates Mab gave me are spheroid. They differ MASSIVELY in size, from about 10μm (0.001 mm) all the way up to 2mm. That’s... pretty crazy. They also... don’t photograph well. Not using normal techniques, anyways.

UH so they are TRANSPARENT. Kind of. Except when they’re not. There’s.... maybe a nucleus?? Are these cells??? I got really concerned because Mab didn’t give me any guidelines about using a growth medium. Should I be using agar? I put some in a petri dish just to make sure. Also there’s no exine which if they’re cells shouldn’t be...... well, shouldn’t be.

uh they change size. This is the same sample. I don’t know what I did. You can see the size disparity is now GINORMOUSLY ADVANCED. I thought maybe it was the heat because the light I was using to photograph was kind of hot. I tried to get in a little more, just so I could see if the cytoplasm that they... may or may not HAVE was affected by the heat, which was when, well,

I got the above shot just before the slide underwent some kind of multi-stage implosion and turned into this.

Which is, you know, cute, but wasn’t really included in my hypothesis.
