Honestly, Micronus Prime "training" Optimus in TFRID by using human holograms would have actually made more sense if Micronus was testing Optimus' loyalty.

Unicron is the Earth's core in the Aligned Continuity and all life there is his creation, especially humans. So I believe that Microbus dislikes humans since they're the children of Unicron, and Microbus and the other Primes were created to stop Unicron.

I think it would have made more sense if Micronus wanted to see where Optimus' loyalty was at. Back in the second season finale of TFP, Optimus was willing to sacrifice the chance to restore Cybertron to life to save Earth and its inhabitants.

I would have loved to see where Unicron being the Earth's core has more of an impact in TFRID. Like Micronus would have wanted to see if Optimus was indeed loyal to Cybertron aka Primus.

During the training, Micronus would have made Optimus have to choose between saving the hologram humans or stopping the threat. Of course, Optimus chooses to save the humans, which annoys Mirconus greatly.

After the training, Micronus would have asked Optimus why he always chose to protect the spawns of Unicron. Optimus would reply that while the human race was created by Unicron, they deserve the same right to live as Cybertronians regardless of where they came from.

Finally finished watching Transformers: Robots in Disguise 2015, it was a fun show. It could have been better, but fun nevertheless.

I'm still pretty pissed off that Grimlock didn't get his own vehicle mode. I wanted to see him becoming a monster truck in the series.
