Really want a fic based off of this where Lapis is conflicted about a powerful gem like herself not being good for anything except fighting and Brainstorm just casually goes “Nah. Omg so yesterday was so long and exhausting, again, but the dorms are nicer than I expected! And I got up at 7 this morning, had breakfast, then went exploring with my classmates. They're out checking out the soccer field now but I came inside cos it's hot and the suns out and I'm not wearing sunscreen. While we walked around we saw some really cool places! My favorite was this massive fresh food market, like I can't get it out of my head. I haven't looked yet but I heard there's a kitchen on my floor and if that's true I'm gonna cook some amazing stuff. Once I get an outlet converter for my laptop I'll be able to put up the pictures I took with my Nikon, though I didn't get too many cos I was to busy looking around without the camera haha We came back for a few minutes and then our professor showed us where we can buy a router and a SIM card. And after we parted ways with him, we all walked over to these beautiful gardens we cooks see from our rooms. I actually took pics with my phone while we were there so I'll upload those asap. ♡
