Jerry likes to ragebait Jack and Rosa by referencing classic literary conundrums and calling them skill issues. 'Orpheus just didn't have his head in the game, you'd never catch me slipping like that. Just close your eyes bro. Jack, you could back me up on this one.' (Jack just shakes his head) or 'I could easily extract Excalibur, just gimme a little grease and let me stretch first.' or 'Sisyphus should've just figured out how to perfectly balance the rock at the top of the hill and he'd be off scot-free.' or 'Captain Ahab just needed to get out of his own head and lock in. Can't let past grudges about amputation totally bog you down like that. Now I know Jack will back me up on that!' (Jack jabs him with his prosthetic)

Rosa rescinds her offer to let him into their book club.

after discovering how good he is at it, Jerry will crack Jack's and Rosa's backs on request like this way

lifting them up fully off the ground, spines popping audibly-style. oftentimes it's right after one or both of them have finished a long shift at the gas station

so mental image of Jack and Rosa working together (busy night and she's called in? idk) and when Jerry gets there in the morning, Rosa walks right up to him and turns around with her arms already folded. Jerry's like "Say no more!" (she didn't speak lol). Then when he's done with her, he gives Jack a knowing look, who can resist it for all of like 5 seconds before he's like. yeah no I do need that rn. badly. Tries not to be embarrassed by the sound that comes out of his mouth when all those problem vertebrae pop in quick succession

and then there's a customer there clearing their throat and they're not a regular so Jack feels kinda bad being distracted and maybe losing a new customer. when he starts to apologize they're like "no it's literally fine, I just wanted to ask..." and then looking to Jerry, "can you do me too? my back has been killing me for weeks!"

Jerry ends up popping two or three stranger's backs before being like man...maybe I've got a future in chiropractory.....(Jack: dude it's "chirotherapy". and you know that stuff's a scam right? Jerry: tell that to your spine rn 🤨)

irrelevant assorted hcs for the main three (the gas station sandwich's bread & butter (& more butter? flavored butter? idk I think they're more of a pb&j with marshmallow fluff) Jack Jerry Rosa)

• behavior at a hibachi grill. Jerry is really good at catching the shrimp in his mouth. Jack refuses to do it. Jerry saying he'll take Jack's shrimp "and hers, too!" gesturing to Rosa but Rosa is offended because she wants hers too hello? and is also awesome at catching them in her mouth. Jerry being way too awed by the onion volcano. the three of them simply making the chef's day with their antics and appreciation of his craft

• behavior at the airport. Jerry bought them all matching pajamas because flying in style is for squares (okay but did they have to be Spongebob?). They have a layover that's total ass and fall asleep slouched over one another, more or less in a pile directly on the terminal floor

• Jerry's pretty good at most sports he tries and Rosa has a few sporty specialties (idk she probably did choir in school but she also gives me band kid vibes. she probably did a lot) and actually Jack? is pretty decent at net games and table tennis (not that he played any in school). like they go to play badminton after Jack is fully acclimated to his prosthetic and his and Amy's team kill it against Rojerry. I also specifically think He thinks he's not at all good at these games and his friends are just letting him win. like if you throw an object at him in day to day life odds are you'll hit him/catch him by surprise but when he locks in during a game he gets in the zone and then doesn't really remember it. Part of why he's so good at throwing stuff at people's heads

• favorite ice cream flavors. timeless and complementary, neapolitan makes me think of them. vanilla jack chocolate rosa and strawberry jerry (not just bc the rhyme). I want them to get ice cream together Now

• how they handle intense or inclement weather (aside from the shit that's closed down the gas station), namely Jerry having to get used to an area that isn't the coast. Jerry you literally survived an apocalyptic insect swarm, why does a tornado warning freak you out so much? Well Jack because tornadoes are fucking freaky. Jack doesn't give a shit about any type of storm (finds them more cool than scary) but Rosa's scared too and trying to be brave for Jerry/in the face of such a cool and calm Jack

the second there's a lull after Jerry first learns that Jack inherited the gas station he tries to convince him to change the gas station's name to one of those fun and silly double entendres like kum & go or pump & munch

one of my completely unsubstantiated just-for-me No footing in canon and probably patently untrue headcanons is that Jack has an okay screamo voice. already established he can't hold a tune but he has lots of reason to scream and can do an alright job following along with the few heavier songs he listens to when he's feeling extra angsty (his secret)

Headcanon that Jack is FTM and it plays into his asexuality. I dont think he has bottom dysphoria and getting surgery won't make him any less ace, but it is one of the reasons why he goes no thanks none for me.
