I was thinking (yes I know, I shouldn’t do that, but screw off)

There are some universes where Captain Marvel has minor transmutation abilities. Like changing his outfit and such. But what if he had minor transformation abilities as well.

Like, he can’t shapeshift, but he can change very minor stuff like eye color or, for today’s funny Tumblr post, his voice.

He can’t exactly mimic someone else’s voice without specific spells that he doesn’t bother to learn, but there is one voice that is very easy to mimic with his minor transformation abilities: his own. Or more specifically Billy's.

Captain Marvel is dealing with a simple robber when his phone goes off in his back pocket-dimension. He calls for a time-out, leaving the robbers very confused, before grabbing his phone and gulping.

He vocally coughs a few times before picking up, answering “hi mom” in two octaves higher.

The robbers watch dumbfoundedly as Captain Marvel: champion of magic, hero of Fawcett and high ranking JL member, answers the phone in a seemingly tween boy’s voice having to justify why he is late. Even ending the call with a quick “Yeah, love you too, bye!”

Cap puts the phone back, instantly switching to his normal, lower, voice.

“Sorry guys, gotta go, let’s pack this up quick so I can go home alright?”

Mom’s dinner

Part one I am noneofyoubeewax I changed accounts and forgot my password, tired multiple times to log back into my original account before giving up.

Captain Marvel (Billy): “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!?!” * hands pressed up against the glass*

Rosa: *sharpens her gaze*

Cap: “……….”

Billy takes a step back, straighten up his back and places his hands behind him.

Cap: “would you like to come inside and discuss the reason for your arrival”

JL: “…………….”

Inside JL space headquarters

Both Rosa and Billy sit on the floor since Rosa is too big fit in a chair and Billy thought it would be rude if she was the only one sitting on ground.

Billy & Rosa: *communicating in wails and humming*

Batman: “ Does anyone know what they’re saying” *the tone of his voice sounds agitated*

Flash: “how are we supposed to know what they’re saying, when she only communicating through humming and Cap is only answering one word response to her……I think”

Rosa: “I understand your work is importance, but unlike Captain Marvel, you Billy need a break and to spend time with your family”

Billy: “sorry”

Rosa: “You’re 16, I get it, I should know that you’re going to out of the house more, but I never thought it would be like this…………..You’re over working yourself Billy”

Billy: “sorry”

Rosa’s gives a look that only a mother can give to her son who is burning out but can’t stop and she herself doesn’t know what to do.

Rosa cups Billy’s face bringing it close to hers and squishes his face before kissing him on the forehead.

Rosa: “ your siblings are waiting, let’s go home and eat” * stands up and holds out her hand*

Billy smiles and takes her hand

Billy: “ok”

Rosa even though she doesn’t know the layout of the area leads Billy to loading deck where she entered.

Billy: “um sorry guys, I’ll be back in two days”

Sharp, short wail comes out

Billy: “See you in a week”

A much softer and longer humming is heard.

Flash: “Bye” looking at Batman

Batman: *glaring but not moving to do anything@

Superman: *gives a awkward wave*

Martian Manhunter: “ farewell”

Wonder Woman: *happy smile and waving goodbye”

Departure of Captain Marvel and guest

Green lantern (Hal): “Damn she was hot”

WW: * slaps him upside the head”

The shazam family is about to have have dinner when Rosa notice that Billy isn’t home and asks Mary to go to the Rock of Eternity. Rosa knows that Billy has his duty as the Champion of Magic, she has learned to pick her battles but Rosa is a woman who likes to have dinner as a family

When Mary returns with no Billy, claiming that he’s at a Justice League meeting. Rosa knows that patience is a skill that she has gotten as a foster parent so she waits and waits and waits.

Darla: “Mama, I’m hungry”

Rosa: “I know baby, but I would like to wait till Billy is here before we eat”

Eugene: “yeah but JL meetings go on forever, and unless Billy was a good reason to leave the Bat won’t let him”

Victor: “how about I set aside a plate for him”

Rosa: “ Mary, Freddy are you sure you two don’t have a way to bring Billy back”

Mary: “maybe”

Freddy: “not really”

Both didn’t want to get drag into a meeting or Batman and robin trying to squeeze out some information.

Pedro: “why not ask the wizard to bring him back” (being serious )

Rosa: “yeah let go ask…(not thinking it’s serious) wait actually”

Rosa: “I’ll be back soon”

Rosa: “would you be able to return Billy home”

Ah, dinner time already. As much as I would love to summon Billy to return home to you it would cause some confusion among his fellow heroes if he would to disappear.

Rosa: “you’re right, I’m sorry fo-

I have been around for a long time and there is nothing more powerful than a mother’s authority.

Rosa: “but what about secret identities”

Marvel: (“please stop talking, I want dinner ”)

Batman: “marvel, pay attention!”

Green lantern: “come on spooky you been going on forever”

Martian Manhunter: (telepathically link, outside in space) “ friends, a person approaches, a woman”

Wonder Woman: “is she a threat”

MM: “ I am uncertain”

Batman: “ what does she look like? “

MM: “7’2 feet, dark brown hair, all white with- wait, Captain Marvel. The outfit she wears a similar to yours”

Marvel: “what”

MM: “ I’m going to engage with her”

Superman: “be careful”

……

MM: “it seems she is unable to communicate, she humming like a whale and I have no idea what she saying”

Batman: “bring her by the window”

……

……

……

GL: “Damn”

There floats a tall woman with her hair floating around dress in all white who gives a smile and a wave

GL: “Damn Cap, who this goddess. Don’t tell me this is your girlfr-“

Marvel: “MOM!?”

JL: “Mom!!?”

The reason Rosa was unable to talk was because the wizard didn’t want anything to happen if Rosa got capture (the only word she can say is Shazam). I can imagine Rosa Towers over her children, but not in the Scary way, in the motherly love way.

I can see Rosa’s hair floating all the time and covers her left eye slightly.

I came up with the idea that Rosa and Victor get their powers from the Wizard. I don't know how, but they do.

Rosa's uniform is white and she's a head taller than Captain Marvel. And you could call her very beautiful. Everyone is speechless when they see her.

Victor's uniform is pink (when he enters the room, a rock version of a Barbie song starts playing) He's two heads taller than his wife and he's just huge. You look at him and think he can squeeze stars with one hand.

Their kids are going crazy, the townspeople are going crazy, the League is going crazy. Everyone is going crazy!!

The first (and last if he likes living) time Scarecrow went to Fawcett was because he heard about all the magic and ancient stuff that you can find there.

He needed to improve his fear toxin with elements that Batman would hardly identify, and, by the time he finds out it something magical or ancient, or by the time he involves Captain Marvel (if he does) on this, ¾ of the City would be on caos.

So he bought a ticket bus to Philadelphia, then another to Fawcett, where he began to look around the center of the city, where he found things, some of them legal, other than he’s 100% sure doesn’t exist anymore.

“And do you have something that can make a grown ass man scare the shit out of him?” He asked to the old lady who was selling venoms.

“Hmm… I think I have Boggart venom somewhere.” She said, looking into the boxes she had down the table. “Give me a second, I have to go down there to look properly.”

“Sure, no problem.” And the lady did in fact get into the box. “What the…?”

“You know we don’t curse here, right?” Said someone behind him. He knows that voice from all that commercial to report magic activity to the Justice League (to anyone but Constantine).

And from all that kind of videos he usually saw about him.

“Those are not family friendly words. Why don’t you try something like -Holy Moly- or -Great Heavens!-?” Captain Marvel asked while standing “at his level” (just Ms. Marvel and Wonder Woman are the same height as him).

“Captain Marvel” Crane growld.

“Scarecrow,” he responded. “Batman said you escape from Gotham. What do you want in Fawcett?” He asked politely, while two of his siblings, Bolt and Voltage, appeared from nowhere behind Marvel, pushing away the crowd.

“None of your business” he growled, letting his pheromones run free, trying to intimidate the biggest omega. “Now, why don’t you let me finish my things here before I make that beautiful face cry, and not in a sexy way.”

Silence.

“What?” Marvel asked with his eyes full of confusion.

“What you heard, honey, why don’t you be a good boy and let me get away with this?”

“Uuuuuh” the crowd said, while whispering between them.

“What?” He asked.

“You better run now that you can.”

“Why would-?” He didn’t finish his question, because Voltage’s hand was already in his neck, putting so much pressure on it.

“You have ten seconds to beg for your life.” He said, using his alpha voice, with his eyes glowing and lighting all around his body.

“And there’s only three seconds left.” Bolt growls, using her voice while brandishing a sword that definitely hasn’t to be there.

“Hey! Stop!” Marvel scream.

“If you don’t stop at this very second, I’m gonna call your mother.” Said someone on the top of the nearest building, making both Voltage and Bolt stop their murdered attempt.

“Ugh- Batman.” Voltage growled. “But he-”

“I don’t care.” He responded, interrupting Voltage, making the man let go Crane.

“That’s unfair” Bolt said, disappearing the sword.

“I also don’t care.” And he left, carrying Jonathan Crane on his shoulders back to the Batplane.

14 y/o Billy never knew what Crane was doing in Fawcett.

Rosa saw the videos and, despite the League’s insistence, she didn’t ground Freddy or Darla. On the contrary, they had a party at their house.

Teth Adam was there. He gave both Freddy and Darla a magic sword as a reward for protecting his brother.

None villian try that ever again.
