Pyevepe's POV
Fire. That was all i could see.
A sea of orange and gold stretching endlessly beneath a sky blackened by smoke.
The air smelled of ash and burnt flesh.
Someone was screaming.
No.
Many people were screaming.
The cries blended together into a horrible chorus of terror and agony, echoing from every direction. I tried to find their source, tried to move, but my feet refused to obey.
I felt my wrists and ankles chained down to rock.
A hand reached for me through the flames.
Then another.
And another.
So many hands,so many desperate faces.
All so familiar.
Clawing their way inside my chest. Into my very heart.
Begging me,begging me to help them.
All I see is the people I watch die...
That horrible day...
That... Bastard...i..i can't remember...who it was...
Watched...watched....no matter what I did the outcome was the same...
The tall man laughed in my face...
And then...
I jolted awake
"!"
I gasped, eyes wide, tears still fresh. Gripping the blanket, trying to find some semblence of control.
My left hand came up to my face to cover my eyes, while the other shaking against my heart.
"Such a greaaaat way to wake up,ey?"
I say outloud,to my soul..heh.I am going insane arent I?

3rd Person POV
Pyevepe woke up from a terrible nightmare of some past hauntings of a world gone. Her light azure eyes scanned the room around her before it landed beyond the window. Still,it was night out in The Hub.
Her eyes fell upon the infinite amount of stars. The Cosmos layer of Reality is always a sight to see.So many stars,so many phenomenoms....
Ah,The Hub. The fortress of the Order and the Guardians who protect all of Reality from corruption. A noble pursuit and she is the youngest Guardian.
She remembers how every night she would climb the Tree of Poesis to watch the stars.
Even though The Hub was just a cluster of floating islands connected by The Tree of Poesis in the vacuum in space...and..also giving oxygen...It was still a lively place.
"I should walk around for a bit, clear my head..."
She stood up,still in her black shorts and tank top. She slept usually without much clothing on her. The excuse being that its waaaaay too hot for her.
She walked to the bathroom, opening the door with her free hand while the other had her uniform, she thought to herself:
"i can just teleport anything I need if i forgot..I need coffee"
Clothing fell one by one, until nothing remained, she gazed at her body, the hurrendous number of scars on her body ...she touched her neck,a small line across the circumfrence...
"Sigh."
She shook her head with closed eyes. She began to clothe herself.First everything that went beneath, then black pants that are a light material, same with her tshirt. She placed all her daggers and knives in their respective places. She touched her star-like amulet made out of gold.....
A star...her heart...her soul..her very being.
She clutched it for a moment then let go.
Next came the gloves, simple white gloves.Wearing them was born out of necessity.
She brushed her hair thorough and braided it.
...then the mask.
She felt it with her hands, its surface.Made from Celestine,a material that comes from dead Celestials, stardust to be more precise...no Celestial was killed during this process, she hoped.Placed it onto her pale face.
"Now,that feels better."
Her voice was now altered, one of the functions she added for secrecy. Guardians can't be known so easily, they stay hidden in crevices of Reality itself. The less they know, the better. Though it only altered her to voice sound...staticy
Exiting the bathroom, she aimed towards the door.Quiet footsteps filled the hall before she winded down a staircase and exited the place. She..
Eventually returned back to get her polaroid camera and a simple digital camera for recording. Her notebook was in her bag.Though she has to hide everything stil.
She wonders when she can have her own space and not rely sleeping in the accomadated houses.
Eh,she has to ask Phoenix for that. Knowing him...yeah hell no. He wouldn't allow HER of all people to have her own place...as..much as she wants to be independent.
Eyes wandering to the Tree of Poesis, and she headed off to the-
"What are you doing so early in the morning, sister?" A deep grumbling voice came from a tall albino man. His hair silky white with no bumps. His clothing was victorian-like, light blue in colour. He had a ruby pendant in gold where the start of an elaborate flowing tie was. Twin blades sheated in their respected holders. He wore a black vest too.
But his most defining features are his wendigo skull and imposing height.
"Eh,couldn't sleep much." She scrathed the back of her head, a bit alarmed he was awake at such an hour..But knowing Ronu, his schedules are unpredictable like the weather.
"Why are you up so early? No missions..or.."
"Guarding.Its my turn." " Ah."
She nodded at his response, understanding. The last few months...wait now a year... there have been attacks on The Hub,none died but...a lot of injured.
"Im heading off to clear my head. You know I'm..quite irritable when awake."
"..." Ronu simply nodded. He wasn't up for much talk. He dipped his head, the wendigo skull in place.
"Don't forget." "Hah,you worry too much" FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THAT FUCKER TODAY FOR THAT 'Evaluation' BULLSHIT!
Sigh...
No matter...
She turned and left the building. The Tree was sky high. She didn't know how tall that thing was. But compared to the Eternal Forest's trees it was like a baby.
Pyevepe started to hum to herself. Dawn was in her hair, still sleeping. Her most loyal companion. A species of bioluminescent vines that were carnivorous, eating prey by making sweet scents to lure them in and then poison their blood. She still wonders why her mentor even taught here this magic, 'Traditional Flora Magic' or whatever its called. Sigh
She was happy for it,she has a friend who never ever judges her!Heh...
I am so fucking depressing...
-- A few minutes later --
She passed by a few collegues that were drinking their morning coffee. She can't remember their names but they were Celestials, her senses were fine tuned to sense magic afterall. More so...than the average human, heh.
While nobody was looking she ran towards the tree and behind it,she hid her aura as best she could.
hehehe
With the help of her vines she managed to climb the tree's bark without damaging it.
The Tree of Poesis is roughly around 500 meters tall and....like...20 meters wide if she remembers correctly. The bark was a dark brown with a hint of a purple hue. It has a scar along the beggining of its bark, looking like a 4-pointed purple star.
Atleast we know the resin is purple...
She got to the branches and went deep inside the tree. This is the only place nobody DARES to be. The only privacy she is ever getting truly.
She sat on a branch and took out her polaroid camera. She was studying the tree in secret. She wondered why it was possible for everyone here to be granted immortality if they were here for so long.
She doesn't feel any different.
But she could sense the magic, ancient sorcery that still exited the confines of the trees. Nobody could 'see' magic in its raw form. Maybe The Core of Magic could but thats up to debate.
But she could...feel it...feels its ebb and flow. If it had a colour it felt like a white mixed with purple. But eh,she could only dream what raw magic looks like.
She took a picture of a new branch growing. Younglings usually had a more azure tint to it.
The leaves around her were purple, very bright too. There was a pear growing beside her,she took it.
The Tree produced all kinds of fruit! She is still documenting all the different types but for now she has recorded uh...200+ of em. Looks like each branch bears a different kind of fruit. She left a red bandana around one of the branches for the pear one and a yellow one for the peach one. Her two favourite fruits!
She bit into the pear after removing her mask to the side. She looked at the picture she took. This was the 5th day for this branch and she was pretty invested. Time to search for more...and more fruit types.
-- 2 hours later--
She recorded some of the humming of the tree. It regularly hummed at intervals and magic released each time, like a geyser. She also recorded the Hub a bit and its many islands.
I should get going,Phoenix is going to punish me if I am not on time.
