ok, i tried to search for it but I can't find anything
does someone else's meds make them... feel like pooping? i don't mean diarrhea but just generally the sensation of having to go to the bathroom whether you actually have to go or not?
TMI ahead
i mean, not like a 5 second reminder that I can press skip, it's a prolonged uncomfortable sensation. the best way ive found to describe it is "y'know when you suddenly have to go but are three bus stops away from your house? and you feel it in your whole body??" like that but for like more than an hour
so more context, since childhood i have always been... not the most regular when it comes to bowel movement, when I started taking my meds I started to go more frequently and i thought "oh! unexpected added benefit" but turns out it wasn't
example: i take my pills at 8am and get the pooping sensation at 10
first i thought "maybe that's the time I was always supposed to go and never knew! 🤯". But now im more regular (bathroom wise) but the effect is still there. it's become annoying and distracting.
example 2: i take my pills at 9am
i go to the bathroom at 10am as usual and THEN get the sensation at 11am and it want go aways cuz i already went!
some can say "just take them so the effect coincides with the actual bathroom brake like in example one" but it's more complicated than that, i just don't know how to explain it.
the pamphlet doesn't say anything about it and my doctor also doesn't know. I just want to know if I'm not alone in this
