“Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions.” ~ Pablo Picasso
The Meadowes family tree includes Johanna Meadowes, Dorcas’s mother, who is a 50-year-old shop assistant. Both her and her entire family are muggles. Dorcas’s father is Bernhardt Meadowes, a 53-year-old pureblood wizard who works at the Ministry. Her brother Oliver Meadowes is 22 years old, he is a halfblood wizard and also works at the Ministry. Last but not least is Dorcas’s pet cat Atlas, an american bobtail whose exact age is unknown.
Dorcas isn’t usually one to swear. Its origin does not lie within her upbringing -- it was a choice she made herself. If she ever pronounced such lousy words, she is sure it’ll only be a matter of seconds before heads start turning. What would people think then? It’s a habit that’s stuck to her, up until the point where it became noticed that her vocabulary was colorful enough without bad words. On the other hand, she allows her friends to do so, and doesn’t mind much.
