Pairing: Bradley Bradshaw x fem!reader, Phoenix x Hangman cameo <3
Category: One-shot
Summary: You and Bradley have been successfully dating secretly for months...until your father, Maverick, walks in on the middle of a makeout session.
Warnings: Making out, steamy foreplay, language, drinking
You moaned as Bradley pushed you back against the lockers, the sound muffled by his mouth on yours. His hands were everywhere, under your shirt, gripping your thighs, finding your hands and tugging them above your head.
“Bradley,” you gasped, tilting your head back as he attacked your neck with open-mouthed kisses. “Bradley, baby, they’re gonna, gonna come in,” you bit back another moan as he sucked on your pulse point. “Gonna see us.”
“Shh, no one will see, everyone’s gone.” Bradley pulled back enough to rest his forehead against yours, searching your face. “Are you okay? Wanna stop?”
“No,” you shook your head and sighed, running a hand through his hair. “I want to tell him.”
“And get me shot out of the sky?”
“Are you saying you can’t outgun him?”
“Your dad is Captain Maverick Mitchell, no one can outgun him.”
“I could.” You smirked.
“You’re not the one he’s going to kill when he finds out,” Bradley smirked back, gripping your thighs and lifting you up easily. “That his precious little daughter is dating an older man,”
“By four years.” Your legs wrapped around him easily, lips pressing against the scars on the side of his face.
Bradley’s breathing stuttered. “Our dads were friends. Pretty sure I’m breaking some kind of unspoken code or something.”
“It’s not just you who’s breaking it.” You giggled, biting your lip when Bradley chuckled. God he was so hot.
Bradley moved to sit on the bench running between the rows of lockers, hands sliding up your back as he captured your lips once more. Your eyes closed as you relaxed into him, into the man you had loved in secret for the past eight months.
“Baby,” he moaned, a hand moving to massage the inside of your thigh.
You whimpered in response. “Roos,” your hands slipped up under his shirt.
A soft laugh caused both of you to freeze. “Roos?” Maverick appeared around the corner of the lockers to lean against the doors. “She calls you Roos?”
“Oh, shit.” Bradley stood straight to attention, looking down as you fell to the ground with a yelp. “Bradley!”
“Sorry,” Bradley helped you up, the two fumbling against each other while Maverick looked on with a smile.
“Dad, I can explain,” you turned around and braced yourself between him and Bradley. “He’s, uh, we’re, it’s just, ever since I joined the academy we’ve-,”
“We’re in love, sir.” Bradley’s statement caused you to look back at him with wide eyes. “I promise, my intentions are strictly long-term, I want to date her and then I plan on marrying her.”
“What?” You squeaked.
“I know, Bradley.”
You whirled back around. “What??”
“Guys, Goose and I wrote the book on secret relationships. Who do you think helped him sneak off base so he could go see your mom? Who do you think first discovered that the locker room after hours was the best place to-,” Maverick cut himself off with a cough and a little gesture between the two of you. “You know.”
You stared at him, still trying to process. “You’re…taking this surprisingly well.”
Maverick smiled at you, his eyes sparkling with that special light that only showed when he was looking at you, his daughter. “Honey, if you’re going to be with anyone, he’s the one I’d want you to be with.”
“Dad,” you smiled, eyes growing glassy as the weight of an eight-month long secret lifting off your shoulders.
“Love you, sweetheart.” Maverick straightened and coughed again. “All right. You can…carry on.” He turned to leave before another thought him. “Bradley,”
“Yes sir?”
“Hurt her and I’ll be using live ammunition during our next training session.”
“Yes sir.”
And with that Maverick left, leaving you and Bradley alone once more.
You turned around slowly to find Bradley looking as stunned as you. “Did that…Did that just happen?”
“Uhh, yeah,” Bradley ran a hand through his hair. “I think it did.”

Hangman looked up from the pool table when you and Bradley entered the Hard Deck, a grin lighting his already smug expression. “Well, well,” he gave a nod as the two of you approached. “Bradshaw. Mitchell.”
“Seresin,” you looked him up and down. “What, we’re on last name basis now?”
“Would you prefer I call you both Bradshaw?” Hangman smirked as he looked down at Bradley’s hand securely interlocked with yours. “How long has this been going on?”
“About eight months, babe.” Phoenix clapped him on the shoulder. “I’ll explain when you’re older.”
“Called it!” Fanboy crowed, turning to punch Coyote in the arm. “You owe me fifty bucks.”
“You guys bet on this?” You looked from them to Bob, watching as he fumbled a wad of cash out of his pocket. “Bob, what are you doing?”
“Umm, I lost.” He gave a sheepish grin. “I thought you were just close friends because you grew up together.”
Fanboy beamed. “And I said that friends don’t look at each other like you two do.”
You looked at Bradley, mirroring his bemused smile. “I need a drink, baby.”
“Yes ma’am.” He pressed a quick kiss to your forehead, right in front of everyone.
You blushed, grinning after him as he made his way through the crowd.
When you looked back you found Phoenix smirking at you. “Got it bad, huh?” Her hand rubbed idly against Hangman’s shoulder.
You could nothing but nod with a deep, satisfied sigh. “Terminally, I think.”
“So much for that unspoken friend code thing, huh babe?” Hangman looked over at Phoenix.
“Didn’t stop us.” Phoenix grinned before kissing Hangman hard, not breaking even when Bradley returned with two beers in tow.
“Oh yeah,” you began, looking up at him as you accepted the beer. “I like this.”
