Bradley might regret not being able to be a dragon rider at times, but he did enjoy his ability to control one of the toughest, meanest, ruthless, dragons to inhabit his home on North Island.

Steve half heartedly runs through his morning routine, before he departs his floor and moves swiftly down towards Tony's lab. Stepping through the doors, he felt a tension he couldn't ever explain leak from his body as he moves over to and drops down onto what had become known throughout the tower as his couch. His lips move automatically up into a small, soft smile as Dummy lets out a happy whir as he moves towards Steve, a green tennis ball clutched gently in his claw.

Bradley Bradshaw spent years thinking about leaving the Navy behind, so after his brush with death during the Uranium Mission, he decides it's finally time to go through with it and stop living for others, desperately chasing ghosts. In between learning how to live for his own wants and needs and re-discovering old hobbies, he suddenly finds himself offering Jake "Hangman" Seresin his spare room. Rooming with Jake would be less troublesome if the man wasn't his ex-best friend, who he's been in love with for nearly a third of his life though.

“I, I, I can,” he nearly stutters out as Bruce’s right hand moves to slip under his unbutton jacket and curls like a band around his hip. “I can,” he whimpers at the man steps between his legs, forcing Clark to slip further onto the desk and to spread his legs wider. Or, the one where Harley somehow talks Clark into doing something that sparks an emotion he's never seen in Bruce before.

I worked on this fic last night! So new snippet:

His phone dinged with an incoming text. Expecting Maverick, Bradley tore his eyes from the road to check the notification – and tore his eyes away just as quickly, pulse quickening.  He tightened his hands around the steering wheel and huffed out a disappointed sigh, blaming himself like he'd summoned the text with merely the force of his memory. As if he could have that profound an effect on someone like Jake. One-handed, he opened up the text and then closed out of it without reading it. He had a job to do, and he had to focus.

🐄 - what trope do you feel like you’re milking in this particular fic? (moooo)

Previously I've said “running out of time” and “it’s for your own good.” I guess I would add "mutual pining but still can't be together" to this one too (see above) ;)

Telemarketer Bradley X annoyed Jake

The game concept follows a Literature student on working her Master's Degree. She is working on her dissertation about Greek culture so she went on a 7 day trip to Greece. The story is still on the works so details might get changed and more will be added later. For the Character designs, I purposely chose to make them beautiful and uncanny. For me, them being close to humans but still fundamentally different. Greek Gods are often depicted as Human like, but I feel like something can be added to how they look like. Just like any Yanderes, All LI Gods are Obsessive and Possessive but I look forward on showing different ways on how each of them demonstrate the same trait based on their own distinctive personalities. When it comes to their background stories, know that there are a lot of artistic liberties taken however I will try to be close to authentic as possible on how these characters may act with consideration to their culture based on existing literature of their pantheon.

It’s the worst possible thing that Bradley could have said, because Jake knows with a growing certainty that he is never actually going to be able to look him in the eyes again. He is going to be responsible for the death of the man he loves, who was foolish enough to put his trust in him anyway. And if that’s really the truth, then what was it all for? All the bickering and the insults, the loaded glances and the stubborn refusals. They’ve wasted so much time. Hangman breathes out, grief-stricken, as he pulls higher and higher. The enemy’s missile tone chases them with only seconds to go, and Hangman feels its drag like a physical weight across his back. “I’m sorry,” he says, and it’s not just for this. The tone for a missile lock tolls through the air. “I’m so sorry, Bradley.”

The next emoji after the tractor is the lock and pen here, so I added a locking metaphor into the next sentence I'm working on :)

He sees nothing as he flies blindly ahead, Phoenix’s tail his only guide through the wilderness of his heartbreak. “Acknowledge,” command says again, hard at the edges. “Hangman,” Phoenix pleads. “Those bandits are closing. We can’t go back.” “You cowards,” Jake hisses, disgusted. “Fuck you. If it were any one of you, he’d go back.” Shamed, Phoenix says nothing.

🌾 - what makes this fic grow? What do you need to make it grow?

I think I need to make up my mind about a few key details, and what I actually want to get out of this fic. I've been frustrated with some of the details I've chosen to include, but maybe I should just get rid of them? I'm excited to do my first big editing pass over this one so I can get the shape of it right.

🐄 - what trope do you feel like you're milking in this particular fic?

Previously I've said "deathbed confessions" and "exes to lovers," but another trope might be mutual pining? The big sense of "this is not over."

“Hangman,” Maverick greets, breathless, “you’re one of the most fearless pilots I’ve ever seen.” The young man in front of him smiles ruefully. “But you need someone out front who’ll put the team first,” he fills in. Maverick nods. He makes sure his voice is low enough that the sound won’t carry, wary of Cyclone’s imposing presence behind him. “And I need someone out there who will put him first,” he murmurs. Jake hesitates. With guarded eyes, he clenches his jaw – at his side, his hands curl into tight fists. Maverick swallows around the growing lump in his throat as they warily watch each other. “Don’t let me down, Lieutenant,” Mav pleads. Jake jerks his head in a sharp nod. “Understood, sir,” he replies, voice betraying nothing.
