She couldn't imagine being in a relationship with a ghost. That was the way Camila described it. She had enough abandonment issues, being with someone who was never around would be hellish. Which is why she was so hard on Olivia for being MIA. She didn't want to see her best friend become one of those girls who disappear once they get a boyfriend. The boyfriend eventually becomes the best friend and then the best friend becomes the best end. Stella was tired of endings. She craved new beginnings, but they never seem to come.
"I'll keep that in mind for next time. I didn't want to bother anyone." Because that's how she felt; like she was a bother—a burden everyone has to constantly look after.
"Dante is a lot of things, but he would never intentionally leave me. He's a good man. Not everyone sees it. They think he's south side trash, but the truth is, he was a very smart, fearless, and incredibly selfless kid growing up. He risked his life every day for me and always made sure I had something to eat and somewhere to sleep even if he didn't." Her eyes begin to well with tears and she scoffs at how ridiculous she must look. "The point is, everything he's ever done was for me. So if someone wants to judge him for that then they should judge me instead. I'm the reason."
If Camila needed to see the good in him herself, she would have the opportunity to as they approached his trailer. It wasn't much but they made it work. The only real issue was the lack of privacy. She could hear him banging socialites and trailer park trash seven days a week. She was surprised by the variety of chicks he pulled. Which is why she has to make sure Camila doesn't fall prey to those sweet and rebellious brown eyes of his. "Now I know you're probably dick-starved with your boyfriend gone but, babe, if you fuck my brother I'll murder you. If you need help down there, ask me. What's the point of having hot friends if you can't get them off?" @camilaagarza
