Prompt came from here by @writers-are-writers so thank you for that! This little one-shot is dedicated to the lovely ladies who live in this trashcan with me, @haydensromero and @cody-christian
Tracy is bent over in half as she stumbles through the tunnels of the underground labyrinth; her hand is holding her stomach together while she waits for her healing to take over for her. She follows her nose to find him, to find her alpha that can help her. She finds him leaning against one of the metal lab tables the doctors use, holding the helmet meant for Josh.
“He would’ve been good – Jesus!” Theo hurries over to Tracy, catching her just before she falls to the floor, “What happened?”
She clutches on to Theo as he drags her over to the table he was just leaning against, “Liam is a feisty little pup.”
Theo gives her a withering glare while he lifts up her shirt to see that her wound is starting to patch itself up slowly, “He threatened to kick me in the balls…feisty isn’t the word I would use to describe him.”
She gives one short laugh before it gets cut off from the pain. Tracy grips Theo’s wrist, squeezing to distract herself and to try to get her breathing back in order.
Theo’s free hand moves to brush away her hair from her neck, leaving it there to cup the flushed skin, “Hey look at me.” It takes her a moment to listen to him and open her eyes but when she does he gives her a soft smile, “You’re going to be okay.”
Her brown eyes are misty with unshed tears, he can smell her fear and pain, his heart jumping to his throat at everything negative coming from this girl sitting in front of him. This strong girl who didn’t ask for this life, instead was forced into it and who is dealing with it as best she can.
“Hey,” Theo’s hand curls around the back of her neck and brings her head closer to his, “I’m gonna take the pain away.”
Before Tracy can protest, Theo’s lips are on hers. Gentle and warm, he feels the way her body relaxes under his touch and he beings to siphon some of her pain away. Theo realizes he likes the sound of her gasp at the relief, the way her back arches into him further and the feel of her hand finding its way to his hip to hold him between her legs.
Theo knows that she can’t stay here; she can’t live her life in pain and fear just because he’s too selfish to let her go. His decision is made when he pulls away from her soft lips and she whispers a thank you to him. Theo rests his forehead against hers, “Leave.”
Slowly she blinks her eyes open, brown staring into green, “What?”
“Go Tracy. Leave this place and don’t look back.”
Her brows furrow, “Theo…what are you saying?”
His other hand comes up to cup her cheeks and he leans away to get a better look at her, “I’m saying you can go home…”
Tracy swallows and grabs his wrists, “My only home is you.”
“You’re the only one I have left…you’re the only one I believe in.” Tracy’s own hands cup his face, “You’re my home Theo.”
Her lips pull up into a smile as she brings their lips together again. Their lips slide together and their breath fans across their faces when she bumps her nose against his, “You’re the best one I’ve ever had.”
