Weber Down, Putkonen Up
The Detroit Tigers have sent RHP Thad Weber down to Triple-A Toledo today. They called up RHP Luke Putkonen to take his spot.

Weber Down, Putkonen Up
The Detroit Tigers have sent RHP Thad Weber down to Triple-A Toledo today. They called up RHP Luke Putkonen to take his spot.
Schlereth down, Weber up
Daniel Schlereth, after starting off the season with terrible results, was sent down to Triple-A Toledo, and Thad Weber was called up to take his place. Weber has a 0.75 ERA in 12 IP down in Toledo, while Schlereth had posted monstrous numbers (and not the good kind) with the Tigers, having an ERA of 12.60 and a WHIP of 3.20 in 5 IP, not to mention 11 hits and 5 walks in that span. It's about damn time they sent him down to tune up. It'll give him some time to clear his mind and hopefully find his good stuff again while we give a new guy a chance to prove himself. His Triple-A numbers are outstanding, lets hope he can keep it going at the big league level.
