Il signore degli Inferi ¥ The Lord of Hell

Sono sempre stata attratta dagli amuleti in generale, e da quelli Thailandesi in particolare.

Sia per la loro bellezza e antichità, e sia per il loro fascino oscuro, perché sono creati con la magia necromantica, la magia nera, che utilizza terra di cimiteri, polvere d’ossa di morti, liquidi corporei di donne incinte morte suicide.

Detto così, per noi occidentali, può suonare molto macabro, ma la magia necromantica thailandese, tra le più potenti al mondo, è usata anche per scopi protettivi, per attrarre fortuna, salute, amore, respingere demoni, fantasmi e attacchi di entità oscure.

Gli amuleti thailandesi, perché funzionino al meglio, hanno bisogno di essere attivati recitando un kata, una formula magica specifica per ogni amuleto.

E il mio amuleto thai, non poteva che essere Phayayom, il Re degli Inferi e Signore dei Morti, Yama nella mitologia buddista e thailandese, e Ade, nella mitologia greca e occidentale.

Ah, e al suo arrivo, mi è entrata in casa una Xylocopa Violacea, una gigantesca ape (3-4 cm solo il corpo) tutta nera, dalle ali violacee e cangianti, che fa un rumore infernale, volando, e che non avevo mai visto in vita mia, neppure in montagna o nei prati, e io sul balcone non ho nemmeno nessun fiore, solo piante verdi e bonsai.

Il mio Re degli Inferi si è ben annunciato, devo dire...*

Il Buddha di Smeraldo ¥•¥ The Emerald Buddha

Lui è l’ultimo (nel senso che con lui, si chiude la mia mini-collezione di amuleti Thailandesi) arrivato tra i miei amuleti Thai.

Con lui, ora, in tutto, ne ho tre.

Il numero perfetto, e numero dispari, come vuole la tradizione Thailandese per gli amuleti.

Questo è l’amuleto Thai più famoso (ogni collezionista serio di amuleti Thai ne ha uno), ed è anche il più potente della Thailandia:

raffigura il Buddha “Phra Somdej”, ed è stato creato alla fine del 1800, da un famosissimo Monaco buddista di nome Somdej Toh.

Questo amuleto, però, è speciale, per tre motivi:

- raffigura il Buddha in modo molto inusuale (non ne ho mai visti così), è raffigurato, infatti, con tre teste, quando solitamente, gli amuleti Phra Somdej, mostrano tutti un Buddha a figura intera, molto stilizzato e privo di occhi e lineamenti del viso, seduto nella posizione del loto, su un trono a tre o più gradini, anch’essi stilizzati.

- è uno di quegli amuleti, molto antichi, che, una volta creati e benedetti dal monaco creatore, venivano poi seppelliti, come buon auspicio, nelle fondamenta dei templi o in prossimità dei templi, per poi riemergere alla luce, dopo molti anni, in seguito a smottamenti del terreno o altre cause naturali.

Colui che trova questi amuleti sepolti o nascosti, può poi donarli nuovamente al tempio, tenerli per sè, oppure venderli.

Per fortuna questo è stato venduto (a me).

- è un amuleto molto grande, ed è raro anche per questo. In genere gli amuleti Thai sono un po’ più piccoli.

La sua funzione principale è di protezione, come mostrano le tre teste del Buddha, da ogni forma di pericolo e negatività.

Allontana le persone negative, che, alla vista dell’amuleto, provano un forte senso di fastidio.

Protegge dalla magia nera ed elimina anche riti di magia nera o fatture fatti nel passato.

Protegge la salute e attira ricchezza e fortuna.

E si dice, che tenendo in mano questo amuleto mentre si medita, si possano raggiungere alti gradi di conoscenza interiore.

Proviene dal tempio del “Buddha di Smeraldo”, il tempio più sacro della Thailandia, che si trova nel centro di Bangkok.

Rispetto al mio altro amuleto Thai del “Signore degli Inferi”, questo ha un’aura e un’energia molto più positiva, che sembra aver cominciato ad agire già poco prima del suo arrivo: un’ora prima che lo ricevessi, ho avuto infatti una buonissima notizia, la stessa notizia che, invece, qualche settimana fa, si era trasformata in negativa, in seguito all’arrivo dell’amuleto Thai del Dio degli Inferi...che si era anche annunciato con la comparsa, in casa, di un’orripilante e gigantesca ape nera, mai vista in vita mia...

Forse, questo secondo amuleto, con la sua energia positiva, riequilibria il primo, e, insieme, si bilanciano, come lo Yin e lo Yang.*
