All About LUCK! How It Works & How to Attract It ✨
Luck. That mysterious force that makes things go your way… But what is luck really? and can you attract more of it? Let’s dive into the metaphysical side of luck and how witches & spiritual folk have worked with it for centuries. 🍀🌙
WHAT IS LUCK, ENERGETICALLY?
Luck is often seen as random, but in many traditions, it’s energy. Specifically:
• Flow + Timing + Alignment.
When your energy is aligned with opportunities, and the timing is right, luck shows up.
• Some believe luck is guided by spirits, ancestors, or planetary influences (like Jupiter for expansion + fortune).
HERBS & ITEMS ASSOCIATED WITH LUCK
In folk magic, these are known as luck-drawing ingredients:
🍀 Four-Leaf Clover – classic charm for good fortune
🌿 Basil – attracts wealth + good luck
🌼 Chamomile – used in washes and charms to bring success
🧄 Garlic – repels bad luck and invites blessings
🎲 Lodestones – draw in “magnetic” luck energy
💰 Pyrite or Citrine – luck in business, abundance
WITCHY WAYS TO BOOST LUCK
Here are a few simple ways to align yourself with lucky energy:
✨ Luck Jar Spell
Fill a small jar with basil, chamomile, cinnamon, a coin, and a written petition. Seal with green wax. Shake daily and keep near your front door or wallet.
🧼 Luck Bath
Brew chamomile + basil in boiling water, strain, and add to a bath. Soak with the intention to cleanse stagnant energy and invite blessings.
🕯️ Green Candle Ritual
Anoint a green candle with olive oil and roll in cinnamon. Carve a sigil or lucky number (like 7). Burn while visualizing opportunities coming your way.
OTHER TIPS FOR ATTRACTING LUCK
• Keep your home and wallet tidy - clutter blocks abundance
• Practice gratitude - lucky people often recognize their blessings
• Take risks - luck loves the bold
• Work with Jupiter energy (especially on Thursdays!)

Making Money Rice
Money rice is an easy staple for any witch trying to manifest prosperity, opportunities, and abundance. It can be used in spell jars, with candle spells and rituals, or even just placed in a bowl with some coins or cash to help get money in your pocket. With that being said: let's get down to making it.
What You'll Need:
2 cups of uncooked rice (Abundance, Prosperity)
1 tablespoon crushed bay leaves (Manifestation, Power)
1 tablespoon rosemary (Money)
1 tablespoon thyme (Wealth)
1 tablespoon cinnamon (Prosperity)
5-10 drops of peppermint and/or bergamot essential oil (Money, Abundance)
3 tablespoons olive oil (Protection)
3 tablespoons sugar (Prevents repercussions)
3 tablespoons salt (Protection)
3+ tablespoons matcha powder (Manifestation - the more you use, the better.)
What You'll Do:
Smoke-cleanse a large bowl, a small bowl, a jar, a silicone ice cube tray, and a whisk with rosemary.
In the large bowl, combine everything except the olive oil, essential oils, and matcha powder. Mix well.
In a smaller bowl, whisk all the matcha powder with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil at a time until you get a thick paste. Slowly add in olive oil, whisking often, until you have a paste. You may need to adjust the oil-to-matcha ratio in the recipe. The more matcha you use, the more oil you will need.
Once you've reached that paste, add in more olive oil bit by bit until it resembles a thick cake batter.
Then add your essential oils and mix well. You want it to be just thin enough to pour without the matcha powder clumping.
Drip the matcha and oil paste all over your rice and stir it until it's evenly coated. You may drip in 1/4 teaspoon of extra olive oil at a time if it's too dry.
Portion most of it into the ice cube tray and freeze. For what you want to keep out, keep it in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to three days.
And that's all there is to it! If anyone wants information or ideas on how to use money rice, let me know, and I'll whip up a few beginner-friendly spells and/or rituals. As always, remember to do your research, be safe, and blessed be.
