Gibbon chilling out on a motorcycle. When I lived in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand in 1980, and volunteered at refugee camp, I stayed in a rundown building next to an expat family including the person who helped administer our volunteer program. The property had to primates on it. One of them was this gibbon who I was fond of. Had I known then what I know now I would have tried to talk them into getting this ape to a sanctuary.
