         ❝ you know, ❞ he’s looking elsewhere as he speaks, though he saunters closer like the large feline he is, one hand slipping into the pocket of his trousers. within, there’s a necklace that he had certainly not left the hotel with, gold with a ruby pendant that he thinks might either look far better in his personal collection or perhaps liquidated and as a wad of cash in his wallet. ❝ i can’t say i had imagined we’d see eye-to-eye on most affairs. ❞ all things considered.

              Shrugging off his jacket, attempting to RELIEVE himself of the weight of water through his clothes. Stunned to find another in what he ASSUMED was an empty shack, but quick to shake it off when he offered a towel, 

              “Yeah... yeah that would be great. Thanks.” Calmly recovering as he wiped his face of excess water droplets. “Sorry for... dropping in like this --” Or DRIPPING seeing as how there was a pool of water already forming at his feet. “ -- Its pouring out there.”

who would be the big spoon/little spoon?

        catch solo endlessly being the little spoon. dude’s used to being the larger one, always. with that in mind, he’d always take the opportunity to snuggle back against aric, guiding one of his arms around his waist to be held and warm.

who would wake up first?

        solo. only because he’d be more than happy to make them a nice breakfast in the morning. aric’s probably gonna have a lot of breakfast in bed in his future.

do they have nicknames for each other?

        not any that they truly stick to. they might call each other a term of endearment every now and then, or refer to one another as something other than their name in the moment. ( see: barnacle. ) everything is adoring.

how do they apologize after an argument?

        aric is more the type to apologize vocally and clearly. solo, however, will shower him in gifts to show that he’s sorry. he’d verbally apologize every now and then, but he’s more prone to bringing home something nice as a sort of peace offering.

what would they be like as parents?

       probably the kind of parents you’d want to have. aric would be absurdly understanding and tender with their child, and solo would inevitably be the “cool dad” --- that is, bringing home quite the expensive accessories for their child that he certainly did not pay for.

who is more romantic?

       they’re both romantic. neither of them are against heading out for a nice dinner, nor are they averse to having a romantic, candle-lit dinner at home. they tend to decide to stay cozy and comfortable on the nights that they’re feeling amorous.

what sort of gifts do they get for each other?

        solo, of course, gets all of the extravagant gifts for aric that he finds --- either bought or stolen. watches, ties, cuff links... he’s more than willing to pay for bespoke suits, as well, aric, on a tighter budget, gets solo trinkets and small things, all of which are greatly appreciated. solo keeps absolutely everything aric gets for him --- either out on display or tucked away safely with his belongings.

who gets jealous easiest?

        they can both be jealous, at times. neither of them are blind to one another’s charms. however, solo might be the one to be more obvious about it, slinking over and standing right beside aric as a sort of this is mine when he notices others getting too close.

who gets more excited for events e.g.. birthdays, christmas?

        they both look forward to any and all holidays, and always get one another gifts for any special days. solo insists that they decorate for any occasion, as it’s not something he’d done since he was a boy, but it’s certainly something he wants to do to make memories with aric.

who is the most adventurous?

        aric, definitely. though, it’s probably incredibly easy for him to talk solo into heading out for adventure --- he’s absolutely helpless when it comes to resisting.

who is the most protective?

        both of them are very protective, and would go to any lengths to ensure that they’re both safe and happy. aric is particularly protective when solo returns from missions and is looking a little worse for wear.

what would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?

        solo, good lord, would do all he can to play up his charm. he probably would’ve stolen something from aric --- as he always picked pockets when he was younger --- but upon realizing how kindhearted he is, he’d actually feel bad and return it.

who uses all the hot water?

       solo. rip aric. though, they could use it together --- solo would insist they shower with one another.

who would accidentally set the kitchen on fire whilst cooking?

        aric. leave the cooking to your domestic househusband, aric --- he’s an incredible chef and it’s his element.

who initiates sexy times the most?

        solo, of course. it might be a slow build, but once they break the dam, well --- let’s just say he wonders if aric will be able to keep up with him. he’s always been very physical, but intimacy with someone he knows and trusts? not to mention how attracted he is. good luck keeping his hands away.

who is more dominant?

      this can vary. solo might be playfully dominant in the bedroom, but aric can also be dominant --- in such a way that doesn’t feel suffocating, always gentle and patient. this how u say is a weakness.

what would they do if the other one was hurt?

        Destroy. no but fr --- protective as they can be with one another, they would reassure themselves of the other’s well-being before Shit Goes Down because their health comes first and revenge comes after that.

who gives nose/forehead kisses?

       aric gives forehead kisses all the time because he’s tol. solo adores this --- and gives his own forehead kisses when they’re still in bed in the mornings.

what their biggest fight was/will be about:

        perhaps solo risking his life / getting himself into dangerous situations that are not entirely necessary. he needs someone to tell him to be more mindful of his own life.

bonus #1: song to sum them up?

        THIS. catch solo playing his old italian records on lazy days and inviting aric to dance with him.

bonus #2: a head canon?

       solo likes the familiar weight of aric sprawled out partially / entirely on top of him. it makes him feel secure. frankly, he can be used as a mattress and he’d never grow tired of it.
