i grinded for a better look for Thalu-5 and by grinding i mean giving devrim a fuckton of shards and hoping for the best

it got me the lucky pants so it works

Well there’s three that are more developed and a fourth, maybe fifth that are in development

The main three are of course my awoken warlock Seyla, exo titan Helios-33 and exo hunter Thalu-5. The fourth and maybe fifth are maybe dragon age ocs i still adore and want to put in destiny, but thats still way up in the air

So for Seyla, she’s my canon one, the one who regained her Light, the one who broke Thumos the Unbroken, the lone guardian who faced Ghaul and lived.

Her ghost is named Luka, and while idk much abt pre-destiny 2 lore, i imagine she was an earth-awoken, lived her whole life in Russia, died there, got rezzed there. Its the reason why Luka has the name he has, the reason why Seyla still speaks russian nowadays.

Helios-33 is the oldest of the three main guardians, i imagine he’s been around for longer than Seyla. Dunno how old he’d be lore wise, but he has history with everyone at the tower (fun way to make sure Ikora can still call him her closest friend without having to fumble with timelines too much)

He’s there when the tower gets attacked and when it falls, it takes him weeks to get himself and some other guardians and civilians to the farm, barely makes it. During the main campaign he mainly does supply runs for the farm, training (for himself to try and get used to the feeling of no light, for his fellow guardians to empower their resolve and inspire them to not give up the fight.) When he hears a guardian has regained their Light from a shard in the EDZ, it takes everything from Sparky (his ghost) ti stop him from foolishly trying to regain his Light as well (very emotional moment where Sparky has to genuinely push against Helios’ chest to stop him, a broken “i cant revive you!” finally stops him in his tracks.

And since I imagine he and Ikora are close, he’s the one who runs through curse of osiris. AND NEAR THE END, THATS WHEN HE AND BANSHEE START DATING, bc seeing a disastrous future etc makes you realize things about people you dont want to lose.

He’s my main focus bc he’s the one i play the most so 🥰

And then final from the three main ones is Thalu-5, exo hunter. She’s very ‘young’, and practically ran into Helios-33 and somehow became friends with him. The world is a new and exciting place, she never experienced the time without Light, got rezzed a few days after Ghaul was defeated.

And uh yeah. Thats my main children. This might be a bit rambly bc i wrote this in between moments of work.

Thinking abt my guardians and their preferred types of ghost shells

Seyla likes the tall ones for Luka, the ones that are longer and less wide

Thalu-5 prefers regular shaped ghost shells that get a little extra pizzazz

Helios-33 prefers the ones that have the little spikes OR the real sturdy chunky ones.

Idk why the thought of a ghost talking exclusively like a cowboy is so funny to me but it is and now im making baby do it occasionally

exos are programmed to need to eat (and anything else humans do) to avoid body rejection (since they are human minds) so I'd say some sort of brain freeze is possible 💖
