Urgent: baby garter needs a home
I have just received a very sad submission to my reptile club’s adoptions. This hatchling checkered garter snake, who urgently needs a home.
It seems like the current keeper is a minor, and their parent is demanding that the snake be rehomed. The snake has only been in the keeper’s care for one week.
The snake is located in Oakland, CA, and I don’t know if it has a setup. The photo above is the only one that was provided.
If you are anywhere in the area and can take in and care for this tiny baby (and if you’re a minor, please for the love of snakes, ask for permission first!) -- anyways, if you want to adopt this precious noodle, hit me up on chat. I will be delighted to connect you to the current keeper to make sure this sweetie ends up in a loving and caring forever home.
