Kannala Kannala X Chaleya

To celebrate the announcement of Thani Oruvan 2 and Jawan releasing next week, I decided to draw a comparison post. Am I the only one who jumped up in joy when I first saw the song 'Chaleya' from Jawan where Nayanthara was in a similar dress from her Thani Oruvan song 'Kannala Kannala'? The resemblance is uncanny (see for yourself!)

Jayam Ravi in Thani Oruvan is the embodiment of bi panic. Or more specifically biromantic homosexual panic.

My man was completely obsessed with Siddharth so much so that his entire life was built around an article which he saw when he was 15 and had another 15 year old boy going to jail. You cannot tell me that obsession for ten years had no undercurrents. And that final scene when Aravind samy dies, our boy was like no that’s my boyfriend that I finally got near fixing.

And of course Nayanthara. I’m pretty sure Mithran liked her a lot, could even see himself being in love with her from the beginning but he wasn’t sexually attracted to her and felt like he couldn’t give her all of him.
