I can't even put into words how much I think Arthur despises Ivan.

To be fair to Arthur, he accusations aren't wrong. He had know Ivan "professionally" for years and had begrudgingly been on the same side of a battle more then a few times. He had seen first hand Ivan's childish cruelty. His quickness to violence. His apparent lack of understanding why nations don't just forgive him for his actions or why they can't just see things the way he does! Don't they know he wants what is best for them!

Thing thing is, Arthur and all other nations have the same damm traits and history just in different flavors. And Ivan knows that. So he let's Arthur stew in his anger and enjoys teasing him. He knows Arthurs reason for disliking him are full of hypocrisy and are based on the never admitted desire of wanting to protect his son.

idea -> optional collaboration phase (share idea with people, see how it might develop) -> straight through drafting, usually beginning to end -> optional critique/beta phase if anybody wants to do so -> let it sit, overnight or for a week ish -> read through once or twice to correct errors and add extra details -> post!

the running of the deer, fic done for @fswintersdelight this past year!! :D Four Swords fic set in the world of Aldea, the setting of the Blue Rose TTRPG (specifically second AGE edition.) The last chapter is admittedly somewhat slapdash, but I have to say that I really love the background work I did for this one and these versions of the boys. They're great. :)

I’m trying to get off Google Docs for writing because I’m not into the AI scraping—what do people use? I’m trialing Pages right now because it’s free and I can work on docs on both my laptop and my phone (I’m a freak who writes a LOT on her phone) but I’ve also heard Scrivener will let you do that?

Alternatively: maybe I’m overreacting and Docs is fine actually
