Jensen gave me his cold. I went to hyperbarics with said cold. My ears couldn’t handle the pressure. Now I’m sitting at an ENT’s office waiting to get tubes emergently placed. Can’t hear out of my left ear. There’s a giant pocket of fluid in my left ear I can’t clear. It hurts like fuck. My right ear looks ok on inspection but I can feel it throbbing and bulging like it has extra pressure in it. So I’m demanding they tube both so I don’t have to do this again. What a fuckin day. But at least the ENT was kind enough to get me in same day even though they’re overbooked and my pcp’s office got the referral in place within 15 minutes of me leaving a message. Little things, man.
