Ok ok, so Yourself's GF is dead for real and that's fine. Actually, on second thought, it gives me a few ideas and makes some of those ideas make quite a bit of sense…
Like… And I'm just spitballin'… What if Yourself killed his GF and did some demonic thing to keep her soul with him forever, since it was confirmed Boyfriend is kind of clingy.
Also, like, Yourself apparently also suffered some mysterious "unknown incident". So that's cool.
Or maybe Herself did it??? Or they broke up and he killed her for it and he got "cursed" for it, maybe accidentally/unintentionally (like a monkey's-paw wish "let her be with me forever")????? Either way, he's maybe being literally haunted by her and in his broken brain's state wants to know from himself (aka Boyfriend) he made a good decision or w/e. I dunno. How Yourself's GF felt about it or what, exactly, happened to them are thoughts for another time, but. Yeah.
One thing for sure, this concept art I found sure goes hard with its lack of explanation. I dig it.
