sure there’s things to nitpick about the series (i have and i will) but choosing to end it with a message about how important you are to the world, how powerful and unique— to an audience full of neurodivergent fans— that’s such an act of love, and it rings so true to the heart of the story.

Percy Jackson books are so so good. I don't even care about the plot. I hyperfixated on them and then maybe a month later got my ADHD diagnosis, made it a hell of a lot easier to swallow and explain to friends that I was basically Annabeth Chase. Also I hear new characters have Fun Genders but that's for my younger siblings to discover.
