This week the gang received some unsolicited cryptic advice from prophetic worms, and now I no longer want to receive intel in any other fashion
Plant descriptions and text as provided by the DM below the cut! The worms did their best but it’s hard to chew good calligraphy.
• The stalk of a plant with long, striped leaves and a glossy red pitcher-shaped flower that looks, from the side, like the face of a man with a long beard. Text: Ther iz another song. Seek below the giant’s crown for 1 who rememembers
• A shiny, round, black leaf that glints red in the sunlight. Text: Take lefthand path 2morrow. It will make some1 very very happee.
• A long, red leaf with fork at the tip, not quite open from its spiraling bud stage. Text: Set A trap, catch a rat, bye 2morrow he’ll B back! Set A trap, catch a hart, send him 2 the 9fold Dark.
• A leaf with pointy edges and pale fuzz, which stings when you touch it with your bare hands. Text: All threads lead back to the center of the circle. Follow them or they will follow you.
• A spiral of thick, fleshy, dusky-pale leaves. Text: Sum seeds luk a lot like teeth, don’t they? This will B im portent!
• A large olospië leaf from the base of the plant. Some of its roots are attached and tangled together with the fine, hairy roots of another plant, with small bluish leaves and flowers. Text: Thee egret has a goldyn egge in its nest & the roc has stolen its song
• On what appears, as far as you can tell, to be a lettuce leaf: U will ignore a prophecy that could have bin really helpful Bcause you think you’re 2 good for portents. There. Are u happy now? Gods. Nobody understands the effort that goes into this, we swear to-- (the leaf ends)
