Standalone Cornbread
You can tell it's Fall when corn bread starts popping up all over the place. Luckily, Whole Foods Market embraces this comfort food year round. Their iteration usually includes blueberries in their cornbread batter, which is so delicious. This past weekend, though, they switched it up making fresh cranberry cornbread instead. The reason I love their recipe is because the consistency is closer to a moist cake than most of the dryer cornbread out there. It smells delicious and you can pick how big of a chunk you want to take home with you. It is truly hard to stop eating it and the cranberries this time added a tart burst. This also has me looking forward to my cornbread contribution to this year’s Thanksgiving dinner. It seems to be a big hit every year and a side item my pop doesn’t think cramps his style.
