As 2015 finally came memories of 2014 flash back like a roller coaster ride. There were days of challenges, days that taught me how to be strong and how to stand up tall. Days that taught me how to be thankful of how beautiful life is, of how lucky I am that God gave me this life, this talent, and my family and friends who are the main reason why I wake up each day of 2014.
I couldn’t be more thankful of how many blessings came to me this 2014. And as they say,”count your blessings”, I’d like to share you the reasons and the people that made my 2014 a remarkable one.
SINULOG FESTIVAL - My first travel for 2014. This is one crazy adventure with my best high school friends, Party People, which brought us to a new hobby: to travel, explore and party together every year!
23RD BIRTHDAY - Got a year older but thankful for another opportunity to be better and love life! But this time with an unexpected surprise from my clingy sister.
NEW SHOWS - Home Sweetie Home, The Singing Bee, Pinoy Big Brother All In, I Do, The Voice of the Philippines and It’s Showtime. It’s my second year as a Promo Producer and 2014 has been so kind and overwhelming with new opportunities that came my way. I thank my managers and all the executive producers for trusting me these shows and for letting me learn more every year.
PANGASINAN - A getaway with my office buddies. I am thankful for travels like this, a perfect breaker to our demanding work load.
SUMMER, SUNNY, SKY & SURF - Sydney, our Shihtzu gave birth to four adorable fur balls. Although we had to give up Surf to his dad, we still have three darlings plus Sydney to take our stress away and make each day pawfect.
ANILAO - A perfect relaxing trip to Anilao, Batangas with my office mates. It’s where I saw the best sunset of 2014. So breathless!
MASSKARA FESTIVAL - Thankful for another crazy trip to remember with my high school friends at the city of smiles, Bacolod.
ANTHONY & STEPHANIE WEDDING - Thankful that my sister finally found the man who will spend the rest of her life with. This leaves Jen and I on the list of who will be next to marry? Well, I still have to find that guy who will be ready to jump in with my craziness forever.
PARTY PEOPLE - It’s the big group of friends I have since High school. I know the name is a bit jeje but we were kids back then. What matters most is how our friendship from jeje days grow to a mature and stronger relationship. I am lucky to have friends who accepts me from inside and out. They are like my extended family, my brothers and sisters who will stay at each other’s side no matter what. From helping each other at work, to finding that tie-dye shirt, to walking for hours and getting lost together in an unfamiliar city and to getting drunk until we drop. It’s never a dull moment with these guys, I am blessed to know that our friendship will last until we grow old.
FAMILY - Thankful that our family became closer and bigger this 2014. We got 4 fur balls and Anthony as our new brother. It’s also the year when I became closer with my younger sister Jen.
BABY RAFAEL - A good news from 2014 that we’re all looking forward to this 2015! We’re all excited to see my sister’s baby Raf to come out this January. I’m one excited ninang! :)
With every waking day that you come to see how beautiful life is, is a blessing. And I have to thank God not only for these blessings I’ve shared you, but also for the simple ones that gave my friends, my family and I a reason to be happy last year. If only I can give him a big hug I will do. But for now, I have to thank him for giving me 2014 as an awesome year of adventure and discovery, and for another 365 pages to fill with amazing memories this 2015. ♥
