Also about tharja to that other anon, the tharja we actually use in the game, if you had actually read the supports, promises not to make the same mistakes as noire's BadFuture mother and tries to love her as best she can. Also Cordelia is a FAR worse mother than tharja is. She abandons her child and husband cause she can't get over chrom. At least with tharja it says that she ends up loving whoever she gets married to, as well as what I said about noire.

It’s so bizarre because at some point someone pegged Tharja as abusive and it spread around the fandom and stuck, as way to justify their hatred of her/her popularity. And that is true about Cordelia, yet she doesn’t receive nearly as much hate and is also a fan favorite.
Really, the game includes characters that actually have flaws, even drastic ones, which I personally find interesting. Additionally, you can still LIKE a character even if they’re literally AWFUL (like idk maybe someone really loves Validar or some shit) if you want to, because you’re entitled to that because it’s fiction, you don’t have to approve of everything the character does, but this fandom really doesn’t seem to get that. So even if Tharja was truly as awful as they claim (which she isn’t), people should still be allowed to enjoy her character
