An Unknown Businessman Invests One Billion Dollars in Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake revealed to The Reuters news that an a person who would not like to reveal his name invested one billion dollars in Sri Lanka. The minister further explained that this was allowed to preserve the value of Lankan Rupee. These days the value of the Rupee is in a critical situation.
The Economic specialist highly criticized this fact. Their argument was letting a single person to invest such a big money inside a country is dangerous. Those mostly can be black money. If this would happen, all the good positive investors would also take back their money. This was also happened in Thailand once. The fact of the person who invested money was hiding his name was even more suspicious.
