Go to the store, don’t cry over the puppies that are in the pet store next to the store, get ice cream, go home.
Alex had been repeating the exact same list over and over in her head as she slowly walked from her building to the store a block away. It was her exercise for the day and even though Alex knew that technically she probably should have someone with her, she also was tired of being cooped up in the house. And really wanted ice cream despite the fact it was still way too cold outside to even think about having ice cream. But as usual, the baby won that argument and so she was very slowly on her way. And started to regret it when she tried to avoid someone who was waiting for a car only to accidentally run into them instead. “Oh my goodness I’m so....” Alex started before her eyes widened when she realized who it was, “Sorry. Um.....hi,” she finished as she looked at Riley.
