ok i did just have a blessed interaction though

i went downstairs to check my mail and there was a little old lady in the mail room staring into the recycle bin

she looked up as i entered and said “the devil’s in the wastepaper basket.”

so i said “oh, word?” like any normal person would, and she said “come take a look!”

and sprawled within that recycle bin was the biggest xenomorph action figure i have ever seen

My roommate has This Old coffee pot we use When you brew coffee and leave it The hot plate Groans And Creaks And Snaps It cries To let you know you’re forgetting it And it’s obnoxious and it interrupts my musings And I wish the coffee could stay and get hotter but I can’t stand the Groans Creaks Snaps cries Oh how I wish I wasn’t like that old coffee machine

and my head hurts
