and it really says something when i see montrealers, continuously, fight harder for palestinian rights than they ever had or want to for first nations' rights. why are you fighting harder for a country on the other side of the world, than people on your own stolen land you currently occupy, who have endured and survived that for centuries? /rh (don't twist my words into something i didn't say, i never said to not stand up for palestinian rights, but rather that the energy you put into it should be at least equal to the one you put for first nations' rights here)

you are not superior cause you now accept, and try to pretend everyone does so too, mistreatment from those who colonize you

you feel disrespected by anglophones and the french? PUT THAT ENERGY ON THEM, not on attacking oppressed communities, any BIPOC you can think of and blaming them for problems, caused by historical and modern colonizers, they have never perpetuated (or if they've fallen victim to it, the colonizer mindset, going doing racism on them for it is not okay)

the internet isn't safe anymore to be quebecois, it never was, but it was more safe before than it is now, now all they want is the palatable colonized ones with the colonial mentality

think about it, who is they? you don't have to give it to them

reclaim yourself, your culture, your values, your self worth and self respect

of course if you insult and disrespect anyone, they are more likely to see themselves as such, for example calling someone racist is more likely to make them feel racist and therefore since they are gaslit into thinking that's what they're worth, they are way more likely to do racism, more racism and not educate themselves
