Where did the thing about the neuron being the core come from?
i genuinely don't remember when i shared that lmao. i found this, which is related. anyway it's just a small detail, polaroid's clones are just one neuron controlling his puppet
i prefer the idea that slugbot war iterators (rw respawn technically LOL) focus on organic elements with a tinge of machines and canon respawns are completely inanimate objects, similar to chemicals reacting looking like it's alive
yknow except everything has souls so might want to redefine what it means to be alive for that xD
I have a question on spawn and soul biology. How are they made up and function? I have a theory that spawns are big glorified prokaryotes with rivulli and nonbiological materials (ofc with all thier quirks) I'm currently writing notes about the functions of spawns and wanted to make sure I had all of the facts in order XD
Also I'm super interested in rivulli as a whole 💥💥
I habe the idea of souls having a membrane with cytoplasm and small yet complex structures invisible to the naked eye allowing the soul to function while having a translucent body. Perhaps it's a structure closer to a bacteria or a deep sea creature or jellyfish with the vital organs be minimal and wrapped around the outer walls.
And as for spawns it's not a spread out complex system with organs and multiple cells but rather one big body. A big single-celled organism. The question is whether there is a nucleus or not. This is taking the slugbot iterator biology into account of a core neuron being used as a nucleus and the rest of the body growing from that and if spawns do something similar.
So I'm asking if spawns are prokaryotes or closer to protozoa- yay!

i remember answering someone that they act more like amoebas (at least their souls), but single celled organisms in general fits how respawns' roles work on them, theres more to it than giant object cells
they don't have any complex structures within (both respawn souls and normal soul, let's call normal souls as perplexities because i call them that in my notes xd), instead they work like living particle accelerators
i like to say it's just a very fast stream of water flowing in a constant spin loop around the body, because unlike particle accelerators they don't explode that much and also it's just a better example to visualise properly XDDD
i mean particle accelerators don't really make big explosions BUT still more lethal incidents than an exploding respawn could ever make
respawns still explode if they choose to overuse their abilities, polaroid can control it to accelerate too fast so he has a mini self explosion once he hits his limit (that one comic where hes at a thumper with ui and he obeys it in the end or sumn i forgot the name)
that's just respawn souls which are mainly made of ruvili, they don't actually have any "natural" membranes to contain themselves and this is where objects as their body (vessels? host?) come in
plastic is the main thing that mostly contain their souls to confine into the specific form. i say "mostly" cuz it can still seep out as a way to motivate spawns to move and avoid staying still, the midas effect
without the plastic skin, they'll still be fine but their soul will claim everything including the air as part of their body, and for respawns that aren't assigned those material types, it's a world of pain and motivation to move lol
not really sure if i should say pain because it's a different feeling for them. if you imagine them as ai i think it makes more sense, they don't really feel the pain but their response is the same urgency, maybe like rule breaking for ai, its an entirely alien feeling for us WHERE AM I GOING GET BACK ON TRACK
for the objects within the spawn soul, they mostly give the respawn stable control over itself. something familiar... almost like... mini.. limbo cores.. black holes, or maybe even.. white holes wink wink (stfu)
imagine ruvili as cytoplasm that has 0 nutrients yet holds sentience and sapience like big soup, and limbo's gate (which is the basic component of ruvila, aka ruvila is extremely compact versions of LG) as the world around them but no atoms to identify physically
LG is a sort of phenomenon that works the same as gravity, kinetic or radiation, in better terms, energy. hence why respawns being made of physical versions of that basically have the pass to break a bit of reality, but who wouldve guessed a black hole would ignore laws of physics to make itself object single celled ocs xD
anyway, perplexity souls work very differently, they don't spin or move constantly like respawn souls. the LG just try to stay together as best they can but kept being disturbed. they can mimic organs from their previous body but it's not functional. they're only made up of compact LG, but not quite enough to become ruvili. an in between of living and non living, in limbo (NOT A JOKE)
looks like jellyfish but its mistaken as one and is just a floating piece of wet dissolving paper lmao. their own body is slowly dissipating as a carcass rotting alive, the respawns only speed up their decomposition process but can't outright remove them immediately
the soul's LG still has the memory of being alive so it will keep merging with the host, but eventually returns to the atmosphere and mixes everywhere else, making the soul more prone to past body malfunctions
mimicking pain, the five senses, how the body will react when parts of the brain organ is missing (which is why pol started seizuring despite never experiencing that before), the soul's form itself never actually works like the body, the organs inside are not moving, maybe even reformed, but the LG remembers how it works and what happens if it's missing
after a soul dissipates, the memory still lingers, it's just impossible to bring them back together afterwards. well it's still technically possible, but try finding something that has no atoms to begin with xD
this mainly takes inspiration from water having memory of past chemicals its once mixed in. dirty water after distillation still tastes like dirty water cough cough bottled water taken from gutters cough but with enough mixing, the nasty taste can go away
