i have questions: let’s say we have two fbi partners working together for 5+ years, getting along pretty well. one day, one of them gets stuck in the body of some other dude by a very unfortunate coincidence. he manages to convince his skeptical partner that it is really him in there and she’s trying to find a way to reverse that whole mess, but is unsuccessful doing so. now she has to tell him the bad news in the middle of some godforsaken desert. they are standing in front of each other looking miserable, cracking bad jokes (side note: they nearly kissed a few weeks ago in his hallway but were interuppted by a freakin’ bee). then he gives her a handful of sunflower seeds and she drives of...is that it? at this point they have no way of knowing that all will be right with the world soon and she just walkes away and he let’s her? is this goodbye? i mean, it must be a really strange situation but what? I’ve been thinking about this since 1999...
