“What the fuck are you singing?” Geralt asks as soon as he enters the kitchen. Jaskier is licking something vaguely gravy-scented from a wooden spoon and as soon as he hears Geralt’s gravelly baritone he spins on his fuzzy pink-socked heel to face his boyfriend. He gives the slightly taller man a goofy grin and puts the spoon back in the pot.
Jaskier steps closer and runs a finger down the center of Geralt’s chest, singing along to his phone speakers as dramatically as possible:
“You can touch,
You can play,
If you say I’m always yours!”
“I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world!
Life in plastic, it's fantastic!
You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere,
Imagination: life is your creation!”
Geralt rolls his eyes and slips an arm around his rambunctious boyfriend’s waist, leaning in for a quick kiss. “I refuse to sing Ken’s bits.”
“I know. Oh gross,” Jaskier wrinkles his nose cutely as he pulls away from his darling’s embrace. “You stink! Icky, stinky man!”
“Well what did you expect? I warned you this morning that it was stall mucking day for the zebras, didn’t I?”
“Yes, and I always forget how terribly nasty it is.”
“Hmm. You finish dinner while I take a shower?”
“Brilliant!” Jaskier declares, pressing another kiss to his boyfriend’s surprisingly soft lips. “Now hurry up, lion tamer. It’s almost ready.”
