Hey, I was just using the 'Tips for making coloured gems' tutorial and when I sanded the silver backing off my gem, I realized that the acrylic was coloured, so it wasn't going to work! The gem I got was from Alstarco, and it was purple. But they sell clear ones as well, so as long as you buy a clear one, you should be fine!!

1. First book you ever read, or was read to you? Likely one of those alphabet books or counting books. There were a lot of interesting books around the house but I seem to have lost a lot of them. One of my favourites was 'One Horse Waiting For Me' which was a counting picture book with beautiful tissue paper collages of horses.

2. You can have any sort of animal for a pet, real or ~fictional~, what would you choose? Well, I won't choose a shapeshifter because I feel like that's cheating. But I'd want something I can use as transport. A wyvern or something I could use to fly would be swell.

3. Nerdiest thing about you? Mm...if something truly catches my attention, then I can work on it for days non-stop with only breaks for sleeping and general necessities. I lost a few intense weeks of my life to Persona 4 before I realized that exams were upon me.

4. Favourite type of accent? I think a lot of American accents are especially cute. But all accents out there that have their charms. Like when you talk to Singaporeans about Coke.

5. If you were forced to get a tattoo, what would you pick? I'm horribly indecisive, but preferably I'd get one of my own design, or something based off of Thai classical/Buddhist art. I think Thai classical/Buddhist art translates itself well to skin.

6. Last thing you thought about before you went to sleep last night? Ahah. I went to sleep and woke up multiple times, so...erm...I'm not sure. But they say that sometimes what you concentrate on before you fall asleep shows up in your dreams, so if we're guessing based on that, then I was thinking about Breaking Bad, and witches riding umbrellas.

7. What made you first get a tumblr? I had a DA friend who had a tumblr, and I made friends with that friend's tumblr friends. Just made sense to get one.

8. Last book you read? Wodehouse's Jeeves in the Offing. Gradually making my way through all of the Wodehouse books we have.

9. Three of your favourite songs? ! (The Song Formerly Known As) by Regurgitator, Eros and Apollo by Studio Killers, Wolf Like Me by TV on the Radio.

10. Magically you can learn two languages, what would they be? Thai would easily be my first choice. For the second, I'd love to learn Sanskrit, just because I think it sounds and looks wonderful, but Japanese would be more practical.

11. First ship? Not like, a boat, you know what I mean. Hehe. I shipped myself with basically everyone when I was a kid. But maybe Sakura/Syaoran from Card Captor Sakura, or Tai/Matt from Digimon.
