I really wish I;d gotten to be a part of the early 00′s LA tuner/ricer scene tbh.
I really regret tossing Malekith into "Hammer and the Forge". I mean, I think chapter 15 will be good, mostly for the Loki and Odin interactions and showcasing Loki's loyalties (or lack thereof). 'Cause on one hand, Odin's like:
"Oh you poor abused bb, come home with me and be ma bro, you can play with my son and shit. We'll build a fort out of pillows."
But on the other he's like:
"By my beard Loki I am this close to tossing you back to Jotunheim. This close."
And Loki's just fluttering around off a murder high and don't give a shit.
Except this chapter is just...ARGH. Not being written. I'm stuck. I know exactly what happens, it's just a matter of sitting down and doing it. And now, because it's so planned, I'm not gonna take it out. It's there now. And all because I was reading the comics and thought "Oh, Malekith! I can fill out the Svartalfar plot with you. This'll be fun!"
Sigh.
This is why I have to read over THatF in its entirety now and again. I think I'm gonna have to rewrite Loki and Malekith's meeting because neither of them is acknowledging that Loki doesn't speak the All-Tongue.
Even for an As who supposedly grew up in an outer-realm colony that's a bit weird. Loki speaks the Jotunn language and can get by on the Svartalfr language because of his mother. He doesn't know any other language. The Aesir don't care because the All-Tongue lets them understand him no problem. Everybody else is probably going to notice. (This does come up in part three when Loki is on Midgard with SHIELD.)
So. I have no idea how I'm going to get around that.
Maybe Malekith is just so excited he doesn't notice Loki's shitty Svartalfar speech. With a Jotunn accent.
Yeah.
had a nice day skateboarding with Katy (thatf) in the hail and eating sushi and taking photos and erm yeah, nice day:')
